What a day guys! In a surprising move when everything seemed that Napoli Coch Edy Reja was going to continue witht the team, suddenly, a BOOOMMM... the dreaded words "YOU'RE FIRED!!!!"
Yep, you are reading right, Coach Edy Reja is the 8th coach to be sacked! The new coach is former Italian Head Coach Roberto Donadoni. So much for the rumors that Donadoni was going to be AC Milan coach. What a relief!
The last defeat at the San Paolo Stadium on Sunday, March 8 Napoli 0 - 2 Lazio for the Italian Serie A Week 27 was the last knockout! Two goals by Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi symbolizing two slaps for Reja.

Unbelievable, guys, ironically Reja extended his contract last season when Napoli became the first team to beat FC Inter and in Week 38 defeating AC Milan ruining their chance to keep their 4th position.
Napoli ended the 2007 -2008 season in the 8th position with 50 position. Last season Reja got super victories at the San Paolo stadium when beating Palermo, Juventus, Inter, Fiorentina and AC Milan. This was not enough because this season the magic ended..... losing at the San Paolo was just too much to bear and the words "YOU'RE FIRED" was a must.
Well, now, everything is part of history.... and the new era of Roberto Donadoni awaits for us.
Here are the numbers why Coach Edy Reja was sacked.
Guys, out of 27 matches Napoli won only won 10, draw 5 and lost 12 matches. Here is the crucial part, guys, scoring 32 goals, but also conceding 32 goals having a 0 goal difference!
The test for Coach Roberto Donadoni starts on Sunday for the Italian Serie A Week 28 match Reggina - Napoli at the Oreste Granillo Stadium. On paper it is a victory for Napoli, but we never know..... Reggina is the last team of the Serie A Standing this season with only 19 points.
