On the eve of the Italian Serie A Week 27 Derby Della Molle TORINO - FC JUVENTUS, Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri has one thing in mind "win the derby, period." Punto e basta!

In other words, on guard and let's not be distracted by any controversy it was what Juventus coach Ranieri seems to say when asked about FC Inter coach Jose Mourinho's declarations.

Everytime journalists asked about Mourinho's declarations against Juventus being favored by referees, Ranieri simply said, "Mi auto censuro ancora."  Let's talk about football, about Torino and Juventus, period.

I agree with Ranieri's position because enough has been said already about all the controversy going on with Mourinho's declarations.  The Corriere dello Sport even published the list of wrongful decisions and guys, it was Inter being more favored by referee mistakes.

Anway, the focus today should be about the DERBY DELLA MOLLE, dont' you think?

This is what Ranieri said in the press conference.

«It is a beautiful week: interesting and rich in events».  Taking one match at a time, Claudio Ranieri presented in this manner a period in which Juventus is obliged to go from the Coppa Italia match against Lazio to the derby against Torino up to the Champions League match against Chelsea in a matter of a few days.

I also like that Ranieri acknowledges the will of forward David Trezeguet to get back in shape after being out for so many months recovering from injury.

Having put aside the first match with an unfavourable result ( Tuesday’s 2-1 in Rome) but a result which can be turned around in the return match, it is now time to face the second which is nothing less then the Derby della Mole against Torino who are showing drastic improvements:  «We know how important this match is. – commented Ranieri – and we are ready. The stracittadine are a different sort of match in which squad values and points in the table do not count, everything begins from zero. We will be facing a charged-up Toro which is aggressive and compact. A very fast and exciting match awaits us».

In this crucial moment of the season, the bianconeri are in good shape especially in terms of form even though the coach would have liked more time to prepare these close encounters: «I was hoping for the Coppa Italia match to be postponed to have more time to train, however we are ready to overcome even such difficulties and the adrenalin will help us be in good shape. We are taking one match at a time. I will have to make some changes and in the meantime Zebina has recovered even though he is not 100% fit but he is well and available».
