RESULTS Weekly Roundup 2008 - 2009 Italian Serie A Week 27 - Twenty Seventh Round, FIXTURES AND RESULTS with Scorers and Match Officials, Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2009

By Anna Italia

Here is the Weekly Roundup,  FIXTURES AND RESULTS with Scorers and Match Officials  of the 2008 - 2009 Italian Soccer Serie A Week 27- Twenty Seventh Round Matchday 27 Saturday, March 7 and March 8, 2009.

Good morning my friends!

An early goal  in the 7th minute by  AC Milan forward Super Pippo Inzaghi giving the lead to the Rossoneri.  A great boost for Milan ending the match with a  hattrick from Inzaghi!!!!

Wow, Bologna forward Marco Di Vaio and top scorer of the Serie A also opening the score against Sampdoria!!!!! Another hattrick and Di Vaio !!!

FIORENTINA - PALERMO  It is Simplicio to open the score in the 48th minute. Wow, wow, wow!   Just a super cold shower for Fiorentina because forward Fabrizio Miccoli scored the second goal at the Artemio Franchi!

NAPOLI - LAZIO  Guys, it is a crisis for Napoli!  Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi blasting not only twice Napoli goalkeeper Navarro  but the entire stadium!!!!!

It will be a busy Saturday having 3 matches today.  Reason?  Well, since next week there is the UEFA Champions League Second Leg, AS Roma, FC Inter and FC Juventus will play today their Serie A matches  to give them enough time to prepare for the Champions League.   Guys, I will be cheering for all three Italian teams because they represent our Italian football. Let's see how they do today ....

Get ready with your popcorn, chips, banners, flags, and cheer for your teams today!

Pass the popcorn.... no extra butter, please.. LOL....

Well, surprise, surprise guys!  Roma could not beat Udinese and ends with a draw!  In a sense, I could say a fair result only for AS Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti because he had coached both teams. Special affection  between Spalletti and his ex players too.  Though, guys, Roma wasted a golden chance to claim the 3 points and climb the Serie A Standing to the 4th position.  By the way, guys, join me to say "
Happy Birthday AS Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti" it is his 50th birthday today!.

Guys, the race for the Scudetto is still on  between FC Inter and FC Juventus.   Inter beat Genoa and Juventus won the bragging rights  defeating Torino.  Points difference between  Inter and Juve continue s with only 7 points.
