Here is the Weekly Roundup,  FIXTURES AND RESULTS with Scorers and Match Officials  of the 2008 - 2009 Italian Soccer Serie A Week 26 - Twenty Sixth Round Matchday 26 Saturday, February 28 and March 1, 2009.

Good morning,

The first two matches of the Italian Serie A Week 26  are on Saturday, February 28: Lazio - Bologna and FC Juventus - Napoli

The race for the Scudetto is on!   Juventus beat Napoli with a goal by Claudio Marchisio in the 44th minute after the ball was deflected by ex Juventus Manuele Blasi!!!!!!  FC Juventus 1 - 0 Napoli wow....  A tense match ending with so much pressure and clashes, especially defender Giorgio Chiellini mad after the match.   Napoli losing thier 8th consecutive away match!  wow.... what a blow to the morale of the team.   Though, today, this victory is crucial for Juventus because they have the chance to shorten the distance if Roma beats Inter tomorrow.

A great match with the "Rebirth of Lazio Forward Mauro Zarate," Opening the score for Lazio is forward Mauro Zarate. Guys, a special  moment for Zarate because he is scoring after 75 days!  A great goal from a direct free kick in the 35th minute.  In the 81st minute, the second goal thanks to a super assist from Lazio Captain Tommaso Rocchi to Zarate and bam bam bam  with a right footed shot blasting Bologna goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli for the second time.  Lazio 2 - 0 Bologna  You bet there are no whistles at the end of the match because it has a happy ending with the comeback to victory of Lazio at the Olimpico Stadium since their last victory on December 21, 2008 when they beat Palermo.

Surprising results in the "Sicilian Derby" Palermo 0 - 4 Catania for the bragging rights of Sicily!  Incredible.. Catania taking the lead by a goleada!!!!  Palermo remaining in 10 after the sent off of Mark Bresciano.  Catania claiming the bragging rights with goals from  Pablo Ledesma, Takayuki Morimoto, Giuseppe Mascara, and Michele Paolucci.

An unexpected result with Chievo Verona beating Atalanta at the Atleti Azzurri D'Italia!    Goals by Antonio Langella the ex Atalanta and Sergio Pellissier.

A total surprise in the clash between Inter and Roma!  An Epic BATTLE!!!!  Totally crazy, suspense, drama, thrill!   Roma opening the score  with Daniele De Rossi, then with John Arne Riise.... Inter shortening the distance with a penalty, Roma again scoring with Matteo Brighi... and with only one minute in the field Hernan Crespo equalizes the score ending
FC Inter 3 - 3 AS Roma?!!   It's crazy.. Roma was leading 2-0, then Inter reacts... and Crespo equalizing the score!!!!!
Simply put, the Roma gladiators had almost conquered the Meazza but there it was Hernan Crespo to save at least 1 point for Inter still Supreme Leaders!

SAMPDORIA - AC MILAN.   Another surprising result with Sampdoria scoring 2 goals against the Rossoneri.... reacting with Pato and a ruled out goal by Emerson
