"Yes, it was fundamental to get the three points despte the absences, especially up front. It was a difficult match and it was important what the team managed to do."

Did you feel the absence of Kaká and Pato?

"They are two important players for Milan, let's hope they recover quickly. I hope they will be available for Thursday against Werder, a physical team, they're a bit slow at the back and two players like Kaká and Pato could really help us."

"Whistles never do anyone any good, particularly to slightly weaker players. That's not Clarence's case who has a great personality and whistles don't bother him. When you win the ball near the area, mostly the striker served by you finds himself in a dangerous position.

"It happens because I am closer to the opposition's goal and it's easier for me to play it to a striker. Of course sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't."
