The big day arrived!   Stop doing everything you are doing and let's support our Italian National Team battling against the almighty Brazil.  Guys, this is the World Derby!  Brazil winning 5 World Cups and Italy winning 4. This Brazil "made in Italy" with 11 Brazilians playing in the Italian Serie A  called up by Brazil Head Coach Dunga.

Guys, I am so nervous and praying for the AZZURRI!!!!!!    Brazil and Italy have played 12 matches  5 victories for each team, a draw and the "better not to remember defeat in the World Cup 1994". Imagine that they have even scored same amount of goals!! 19 each!
So it is the "World Derby"

Here is the official  starting eleven formation for Italy by Italian Head Coach Marcello Lippi:

ITALIA (4-3-3): Buffon; Gianluca Zambrotta, Nicola Legrottaglie, Fabio Cannavaro, Fabio Grosso; Riccardo Montolivo, Pirlo, De Rossi; Pepe, Gilardino, Di Natale.

Lippi opted for Alberto Gilardino instead of Luca Toni. I think it was a wise decision.

Here is the starting eleven formaiton for Brazil by Coach Dunga:

BRAZIL (4-2-3-1): Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio, Juan, Marcelo; Felipe Melo, Gilberto Silva; Elano, Ronaldinho, Robinho; Adriano.

Wow, I am happy to see AC Milan forward Ronaldinho in the starting line up because he is playing his 90th appearance with Brazil.

Click the video to watch both teams singing their respective national teams before the match.  .   The official National Anthems of Brazil and Italy... wow.. awesome guys,  closeup from all players.  click now....

Oh my gosh, I have goosebumps!!!!   Just watching our Azzurri singing the National Anthem "L'inno di Mameli"  Forza Ragazzzi!!!!  I am watching the match on Fox  Sports World.    Wow, the guys look very concentrated with Buffon, Legrottaglie .. BRAVO!   Guys, you can hear most of the cheering shouting for ITALIA, ITALIA, ITALIA!!!!!!!

Referee Howard Webb whistles the beginning of the match... it's show time!!!!!!!!

Guys, join me singing PO PO PO PO PO for our Azzurri!!!!!

In the 4th minute, GOOOAALLLLLLLL oh noooooo guys, Fabio Grosso scored and the goal was ruled outttt!!!!!!!!!    Mamma mia!!!!! Guys, an assist by our AC Milan midfielder and Sleepy Prince Andrea Pirlo to Fabio Grosso blasting Julio Cesar but it is offside, though, the replay is showing is a valid goal!    COME ONNNN  Forza AzzurriiiI!!

This is crazy!!!!!

In the 9th minute, a clear and present danger by Brazil with Inter foward Adriano challenging saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon after an assist by Milan forward Ronaldinho... Buffon clears with his feet!!!!  Bravo,  come on Buffon!

NO, no, no, noooooo!!!!  Guys, goal for Brazil by Elano in the 13th minute with a right footed shot blasting Italian goalkeeper Buffon in the bottom left corner!!!!!  Imagine an assist by Ronaldinho to Elano, passing to Robinho and back to Elano gee... trying to clear the danger and Legrottaglie slipping, and then  I AM FAINTING!!!!!!!   Wake up ITALYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY  Guys, Legrottaglie and Cannavaro must be alert.

In the 13th minute, guys, problems with forward PEPE... geee, no, guys, he seems injured. Pepe clashed with Brazil's defender Marcelo.. oh gosh, good, Pepe will make it and the match continues.

Guys, I love this action with Italy defender Nicola Legrottaglie dueling with Brazil and Inter forward for the ball.   Adriano here looks in top shape.

NO, no, and no, I PROTEST!!!!!!  Guys, a mistake by Andrea Pirlo not concentrated and resulting in the goal of Robinho in the 27th minute!!!!!  Robinho with a left footed shot coming from the left hand side and BAMMMM blasting Buffon in the bottom right corner!!  Guys,  I don't know what's going on with Pirlo losing this ball outside the penalty area and without thinking it twice Robinho takes the opportunity to score and seems the SAMBA is taking over now at the Emirates Stadium. Wake up!!!!!

Unbelievable!!!!!   In the 32nd minute, Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi had the chance to score from long range about 25 meters forcing Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar to do a super stretch to clearrrrrrrrrrrrr...... COME ON ITALIAAAAAAAA

Just four minutes later, and in the 36th minute, the chance for Italy defender Fabio Grosso missing the target with a left footed shot sending the ball too high after an assist by Andrea Pirlo. Oh my goshhhhhhh  wake up Italia!!!!!!

Guys, Daniele Bonera is warming up.  Lippi might use him in the second half.

Wow, immediately, another chance for the Azzurri! Udinese forward Antonio TOTO Di Natale with a right footed shot believing in a miracle but it is blocked!!!

In the 37th minute, I am losing my sanity!!!!!  Guys, an assist by Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta for Simone Pepe heading the ball from the center of the box and guess what?? what!!!!  Pepe misses the target to the lefttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt   HELPPPPP!!!!!!!   This is too much to handle... wake up ITALIAAAAAAA  come on AZZURRRIIIII... I am on my knees guys for a wake up !!!

It is unbelievable!!!!!   Is this a nightmare or what????   Italy started playing well with the grinta but losing concentration somewhere in the match!!!!!    Lippi should substitute Andrea Pirlo, guys,  I love PIRLOOOOOO but don't know why he is not focused... two mistakes and two goals??   HELP, I NEED HELPPPPPPPP  Come on Italia!!!!!

So far, I think Fabio Grosso is the one battling with more drive...   bring Camoranesi and my gladiator Simone Perrottaaaa!!!!!!!

Italy must create opportunities and have ball possession for an offensive match!!!!!   Come on,.....

Second half starts with tfour  substitutions for Italy.
Alberto Gilardino out, Giuseppe Rossi  in
Antonoi Di Natale out, Simone Perrotta in
Ricardo Montolivo out, Mauro Camoranesi in
Pepe out, Luca Toni in

I am happy for the changes of Camoranesi and PERROTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa   oh Perrottta don't let me downnnn come on gladiator, let's put things back in control and CAMORANESIIIII too... This is what I was saying, Italy needing to improve the midfield, guys.... Italy must create goal opportunities... JUST PRAY FOR LUCA TONI TO SCOREEEEEEE

Have hope guys, in the 48th minute, Fabio Grosso sending an assist to Giuseppe Rossi though missing the target to the left, is a good sign.   Rossi is giving a fastest pace to the match.    Pray guys, send your positive energies.

Uffa... in the 53rd minute a foul by Ronaldinho and Andrea Pirlo wins a free kick.  Look at Ronaldinho  saying "I am sorry Pirlo with his trademark smile."  Sure, Pirlo must have understood it was not an intentional foul.  Really?  Anyway, the two milanisti return to be good buddies after this match!   (photo: LaPresse)  Gee... for heaven's sake, guys, Pirlo shooting from outside the box and missing the target to the left.  I am fainting!!!

In the  57th minute, a chance for Fabio Grosso and is blocked guys after shooting from long range on the right!!!!!   I am just fainting, wake up ITALIA MIA!!!!!!   AZZZURRI DEL CUORE dovete svegliareeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

In the 58th minute, another substitution for Italy guys among the Roman gladiators
Daniele De Rossi out, Alberto Aquilani in

Oh come on guys!!!!!!   In the 59th minute, another wasted chance!!!!  Imagine an assist by Camoranesi to Giuseppe Rossi shooting from the right hand side and is blocked!!!!

I am losing my sanity, my concentration...  30 more minutes for Italy to score 3 goalsss.. .wake up!!!

This is just not possible, not possible.. a nightmare!  In the 64th minute, an assist by Andrea Pirlo to Luca Toni scoringggggg   but is ruled out for a hand ball.    WHERE IS ITALY????????   Come on Azzurrriiiiii.. we can do it, we got to win.....  ITALIA mia, ITALIA DEL CUOREEEE,,,

First yellow cards of the match in the 69th minute.   Referee Howard Webb  give s a yellow card to Simone Perrotta for a foul on Ronaldinho..  oh oh spaghetti ohhhhh my heart is in pain ... geee... Perrotta and Ronaldinho two of my favorite players!!!!!   Referee Webb  gives also a yellow card to  Fabio Grosso for protesting.

In the 69th minute, first substitution for Brazil.
Elano out, Dani Alves in
Well, Elano leaves the field with a well deserved standing ovation by Brazil fans.

In the 72nd minute,, Adriano is found offsideeeee... oh my goshhhhh    almost 15 more minutes.....  COME ON ITALIAAAAAA

In the 75th minute, Italian Head Coach Lippi substitutes Andrea Pirlo and bring Andrea Dossena

In the 76th minute, a foul by Zambrotta getting a yellow card .   Point is that Marcelo is really giving a hard time to Italy's defense.
Photo: Reuters.  Zambrotta and Camoranesi making miracles trying to stop Marcelo.

In the 81st minute,  I am openly crying guysssss..... just missing a chance to score when Luca Toni from close range shoots and Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar saving after an assist by Rossi!!!!!!!!!!!   unbelievableeeeeeeee  just unbelievableeee   DIOOO MIOOOOOO    9 more minutessssss,,,,,  ragazziiiiii

In the 81st minute, Brazil Head Coach Dunga makes another substitution. Adriano is out and guys it's the time for AC Milan forward Pato!!!!!  Wow, so many emotions watching Pato against Italy, but good for him because he earned this call to defend his country.

Hello, excuse me,  this is the moment where I QUESTION LIPPPI WHY NOT CALLING ALESSANDRO DEL PIEROOOOOOOOOOOOO  when Del Piero is making a difference with assists and goals in Juventus....   my goshhhhhh

Guys, in the 88th minute, our Brazilian Roman gladiator Julio "LA BESTIA" Baptista  substituting Robinho.  Gilberto Silva also out and time for Josue.

This is a sad dayyyyyyyyy WAKE UP...  guys, I see my Milanisti  Ronaldinho, Thiago Silva, and Pato rocking big time with Brazil  while my milanisti with Italy Andrea Pirlo, Gianluca Zambrotta and Daniele Bonera are cryinggggggggggggggggggggggggg  How sad!!!!!

Lippi failed to set a new world record for consecutive unbeaten matches - a total of 31 -- by an international coach. Lippid suffered a first loss with Italy since defeat against Slovenia during his first spell in charge way back in 2004.

Guys, Brazil won fairly with the magic touch of "our Brazilians in the Serie A"  Ronaldinho was great and Inter goalkeeper JULIO CESAR THE HEROOOOOOO... Thumbs up for our Brazilian players in Italy.....     I feel so sad for la nostra Italia, but guys, let's be realistic we had a terrible first half and it was not enough the changes in the second half....   IT's SAMBA TIMEEEEEEEE .....  so cheerleaders for Brazil...... and our Brazilian players from the Serie A.

Congrats Brazil....

My fellow Italian fans and visitors... a sad day for the ITALIAN NATIONAL TEAM... We lost, yes, we lost and in good sportsmanship I admit Brazil won fairly with the touch of our Brazilian players Julio Cesar and Ronaldinho.

I am super sad for ITALY LOSING SO BADLY.. playing beyond explanation in the first half... though in my heart I feel happy for the Milanisti Ronaldinho, Pato, Thiago Silva; the Interisti Julio Cesar, Maicon, Adriano, the Romanisti Julio La Bestia, Juan... they showed our Italian football rocks by playing well with their national team: Brazil.
Well done guys.    Until next time guys.......... hopefully revenge!
