This is the match not to miss guys!   Wow, being Juventus and Milan tie with 30 points each, a victory is a must for any to keep the race for the scudetto alive against Inter which has a 6 points lead with 36 points. 

This match is heartbreaking for me because I am a MILANISTA, but also am a DEL PIERISTA. and admire Saint Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, thanks God Buffon is not playing!  So, my struggle is big, yet MILAN takes priority no matter what.

Statiscally in this current season Juventus takes the lead over Milan.  Juve conceded only 10 goals, scored 23 and goal difference of +13 while Milan conceded 13 goals, scored 21 and goal difference +8.


Oh my gosh, looking at the numbers from the 73 matches played in Torino, Juventus has won 33, draw 21 and Milan won only 19. A different story will be if playing in San Siro where Milan takes the lead.

Disadvantage for Juventus: Absence of Saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon for injury. Yet, let's face it guys, second goalkeeper Alexander Manninger has done a brilliant performance so far. 

Other disadvantage is Captain Alessandro Del Piero barely recovering from a muscular problem on his right leg, so he might play only half time or be listed as subs as it happened on Tuesday in the Champions League match.  Forward Vincenzo Iaquinta has some neck pain and his condition will be evaluated. Midfielder Mauro Camoranesi still undergoing evaluations for his shoulder.

Advantages for Juventus: Amauri and the personal challenge from midfielder Sebastian Giovinco who will want to prove himself after not a brilliant performance in the champions league... even missing the penalty. Defender Giorgio Chiellini one of the best central defenders. Midfielder Pavel Nedved being at his best right now.

Disadvantage for Milan: The main disadvantage and a heavy one is the absence of midfielder Gennaro Gattuso not only for a match suspension but also because he has a knee injury and will be out for about 6 months!  Defender Daniele Bonera is out also after undergoing a hernia surgery today Thursday, December 11.

 Advantages for Milan: Inner motivation of the rossoneri to recover the lost points. Kaka and Ronaldinho finding their way to be more effective in the field. Defenders Kakha Kalaze and Gianluca Zambrotta. Seedorf might be playing as a midfielder instead of forward.  Andriy Shevchenko has scored six goals in total against Juventus in the league: five at San Siro and one at the Stadio Delle Alpi. Andriy has never scored or played against Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin. Since March 2004 Sheva has not scored in an away game against Juve.

You might argue that the morale of Inter players might be down. Well, I doubt it.  True, Inter have lost two consecutive matches in the UEFA Champions League including the defeat this Tuesday too Werder Bremen 2 - 1 FC Internazionale, but you bet they are not willing to lose the match against Chievo and shorten the distance for Juventus and Milan.

Inter passed to the last 16 of the Champions League as second in Group B. Yet, in the Italian Serie A Table Inter is the sole leader with 36 points. 6 points ahead of Juventus and Milan.  Inter will play against Chievo the last team of the Serie A Table with only 9 points. Yet, either Inter win, draw, or lose... don't worry Inter fans because you will still be in the first position whether Juve or Milan win.
