MILAN - Here are the declarations made by Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti during the press conference which was held at the Fratton Park stadium ahead of the Uefa Cup match Portsmouth-Milan before the team's afternoon training session:
THE MATCH AGAINST PORTSMOUTH
"We have come here to
get at least a point to qualify. We don't know this team very well, we have
studied them during the week. But we do know Crouch, who has good qualities.
It's a particular stadium, a classic English stadium, but the ground is good, it
could be a good game.
A few players will rest tomorrow, a few others will
come in later, in any case there will be a competitive team.
We are happy to be here, even though we have been in bigger stadiums. For us nothing changes because it's a pleasure for us to be here to make new experiences."
ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO
"Andriy has paid for the two years in which he played little. When he came to us he worked a lot and now he has found a good condition. Tomorrow I think we can play well.
