Is Juventus Forward Alessandro Del Piero the Master of Free-kicks?

By Anna Italia

Here comes the big question, "Is Juventus Forward Alessandro Del Piero the Master of free-kicks?" You bet most goalkeepers will say without a doubt YES.   Del Piero is practically a nightmare for goalkeepers when it comes to shoot free kicks "alla Del Piero," which is normally from the left flank making a curling lob to arrive directly to the far top corner of the goal.

Click to watch the video and see goalkeeper after goalkeeper suffer  the curse of being blasted by Del Piero with his famous free kicks.  You will see the faces from Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar, Roma goalkeeper Doni, Palermo goalkeeper Marco Amelia, Chievo goalkeeper Sorrentino when Del Piero celebrated his 34th birthday beating Sorrentino, and the list goes on... ah! Let's not forget also the latest "historical free-kick" in the 67th minute against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu where goalkeeper Iker Casillas remained as stone. Matchday 4 REAL MADRID 0 - 2 FC JUVENTUS Goals by Del Piero.

I am asking the question after exchanging comments with one of my readers Nigel and we both agree that Del Piero not only has a "Master degree, but a Doctorate degree in free-kicks."  Do you agree, yes, no, and why?
