Good afternoon!!

What a crazy round with unexpected results to some in the Italian Serie A Week 11.  Here I am ready to a late AFTERNOON newspaper readings.  I am so late today because I am coordinating some job interviews but I don't forget about you, my readers, I get your emails whenever you don't see the newspaper for our "Coffee Morning News Readings." 

Usually, I don't have cappuccino in the afternoon, but have to prepare one to read the newspaper with you guys. So much  tension  seeing how Milan lost the leadership in extremis while FC Inter won the leadership in extremis too.

Two Controversial Coaches
Inter Coach Jose Mourinho and Catania Coach Walter Zenga

1.  Headline says, "Mourinho so many fights: he silenced the fans and escapre from TV."

2. Catania Coach Walter Zenga surprises everybody when he won and attack: "Now lok for another coach."

Anna Italia Opinion: - Hey, what a shocking reaction!. 

The article is about the two controversial coaches this week. Guys, I watched and -- honestly --was in shock seeing  the interview on RAI "Radio Sprint" and how Mourinho got so upset when reporter Enrico Variale asked him about the comparison he made in Sky with former Inter coach Roberto Mancini and he just removed his microphone and left the TV.  Wow!  

Variale and Burno Gentili asked Mourinho to come back and talked about what he said "yesterday" when he said that his Inter had done better than Mancini in his first year with Inter. Mancini was upset and told the reporter  «La polemica non l'ho fatta io, arrivederci», meaniing in English "I did not made the polemic, good bye." He removed the microphone and just walked away leaving the Variale in surprise!
 
Point is that Mourinho usually attacks other or makes comparisons and when the reporter told him that it was Him (Mouriho) who started the issue about Mancini, Mourinho denies it. The surprise was to see his vivid reaction, imagine guys, that he just left the reporter standing alone!

Before this episode, when Inter won in "extremis" with a goal by Julio Cruz, Mourinho silenced the fans by putting making the "sign" of silence watching the tribune.  Mourinho said that he was talking to Costinha "to be quiet" because he was calling him "Mister, Mister," This is what Mourinho told in an interview in Sky explaining his now famous "silencing the fans or Costinha" Who knows! Good thing is that Mourinho admits Inter won without showing a big match. Here is where Mourinho mentioned in SKY that "regarding the First Inter of Mancini I have 9 more points."

Ok, second one, Catania Coach Walter Zenga and his suddent declaration after winning the match against Cagliari.  Surprise, surprise, Zenga after delivering the victory just told the club "Now you can look for another coach.!" hey,  this is shocking because usually you lose and you are sacked, but here Zenga who has done a brilliant job with Catania win and before being sacked he decides to tell them "Go look for another coach." Wow!!!!

Zenga said that if Catania is having problems because of him, then, he can leave. Zenga is upset with some journalists. Though, he does not specify any journalist names. Sure, Zenga was upset too for all the whistles during the match as well as Catania President Antonino Pulvirenti. 

I think Catania is doing well and Zenga should be respected.  Catania right now is in 9th position with 18 points.  Last year, hello, Catania barely save themselves in the last match!!! Hello, excuse me!!


Napoli and Lazio

Headline says: "Napoli and Lazio always on top. Mannini-Zalayeta, Sampdoria dominated, Zarate-Rocchi, Siena defeated, Fiorentina climbs"

Anna Italia Opinion - Hey, thumbs up for Napoli and Lazio continuing their fight for the Scudetto and climbing the Serie A Table in the top positions.

Napoli beating Sampdoria went from the 4th position to the 3rd position with 23 points now just like AC Milan. Though for goal difference Milan is in second position.

Lazio was in the 5th position but after beating poor AC Siena went up to the 4th position with 22 points.

So guys, Napoli and Lazio are rocking big time!!

Mannini and Zalayeta scored for Napoli.  Cassano scored for Sampdoria but it was ruled out.

For Lazio it was the moment of striker Tommaso Rocchi scoring a brace and Mauro Zarate the other goal.

FC JUVENTUS

Headline says, "Alex, a continuous party. Del Piero for his birthday makes a gift to Juventus with another magic free-kick."

Anna Italia Opinion - Guys, if you did not watch the match Chievo 0 - 2 Juventus, you better watch at least Del Piero's free-kick finishing in a super goal.  Wow. Del Piero has been celebrating his birthday since the historical victory at the Santiago Bernabeu when his 2 goals delivered a victory for Juventus. 

Juventus won after 46 years at the Bernabeu and Del Piero made his dream come true: to score at the Bernabeu.  Not only that guys, but he scored 2 goals and got the standing ovation from Real Madrid fans.  Boy, what a way to celebrate a birthday by scoring also on Sunday, his real birthday.  You bet those 34 years are making him feel younger!!! Del Piero is rocking guys!   Wow.... I cannot find the right adjective to describe this living Italian footballer legend breaking record after record.  Congrats again DEL PIEROOOOOOO.

FC INTER  and AC MILAN

Headline says: "Everything in injury time: Cruz goal, and Lecce freezes Milan and Ronaldinho."

 
Anna Italia Opinion - Perfect headline because everything happened in injury time.  Inter won against Udinese with a goal by forward Julio Cruz in the 92nd minute!!!!  Milan "draw" with Lecce when Andrea Esposito equalized the match in the 93rd minute!  Now, guys, do you get the meaning that matches are played until the very end minute?? Wow!!!!  Milan lost the leadership after getting it last week.  Milan made history again when after 4 years and a half they were finally SOLE leaders of the Serie A Table.  Sadly, it lasted only a week because this draw sends them back to the second position with 23 points along Napoli.  First position now "thanks to Julio Cruz" belongs to FC Inter having 24 points!!!  Just one point difference and this is a rollercoaster guys. 

Next matches for the Italian Serie A Week 12 challenges are for Palermo-Inter, AC Milan - Chievo, Atalanta - Napoli, and Lazio - AS Roma
