Good morning, buon giorno.

It has been a crazy week.  Good results for the Italian clubs in the UEFA Cup with the victories of AC Milan and Udinese. I barely had time to eat doing so many things, looking for a job, updating the blog, preparing my meals. But, here I am now ready for our "Coffee Morning News Readings" and my cup of Cappuccino.

Headline says, "Del Piero Motivates Juventus after the magical night of Madrid.  Champions to Juventus."

Anna Italia Opinion - who else can motivate Juventus than the great Juventus Captain and flag Alesandro Del Piero? Nobody!

Del Piero who is living a wonderful moment will turn 34 years old on Sunday, November 9 when Juventus play against Chievo for the Italian Serie A Week 11. 

The magic night at the Santiago Bernabeu when Juventus beat Real Madrid with 2 goals by Del Piero are the "energizer" not only for Del Piero but for the entire team because it took Juve 46 years to beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu!

Del Piero is the first Italian footballer to score a brace at the Santiago Bernabeu and those 2 goals represented the 248th goals made by Del Piero with Juventus!

Just love how Del Piero keeps his coolness and saying that he made one of his dreams come true when scoring at the Bernabeu for the first time!

Juventus already qualified for the next round of the Champions League.  Imagine that few days ago the media kept talking about "a crisis in Juventus." 

Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri saying there was not a crisis.  Hey, now, you bet most people are convinced about the "comeback of the Vecchia Signora" by the hand of Del Piero.

I also like how Del Piero admits that Real Madrid have more control of ball possession but that Juve played with determination.

Headline says, "Ronaldinho what a magic moment. Fabulous goal seconds before the end of the match."

Anna Italia Opinion - Perfect headline to describe the victory of AC Milan in the UEFA Cup Group Stage E Matchday 2 AC MILAN 1 - 0 BRAGA.
Just when we thought the match was going to end in a 0-0 goalless draw, in the last minute of the match BAM!  The magic shot from AC Milan forward Ronaldinho Gaucho making a present to Mlan fans and the team.  Imagine that Dinho was not even in the starting eleven!  

Ronaldinho watched most of the match from the bench until Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to make the first substitution of the match in the 64th minute: Pato was out and Ronaldinho in.You bet Ancelotti must still be celebrating for having taken that decision!

Milan is leading the UEFA Cup Group Stage E with 6 points winning their 2 matches. Milan is winning 6 consecutive matches betten the UEFA and the Serie A.  The good thing is seeing how Ronaldinho is getting back in shape and helping Milan score when hope seems to be lost! 

Sadly, the famous tridente "Sheva - Pato - Inzaghi" did not work.  I must say that neither the midfield Gattuso-Emerson-Flamini worked.  Flamini was one of the worst of the match. I applaud Gattuso's performance and leadership.  Point is that the absence of "Milan's architect the Sleepy Prince Andrea Pirlo" is greatly missed.  There is no creativity in the midfield.

Now the challenge for Milan is to keep the FIRST POSITION of the Italian Serie A  by defeating Lecce on Sunday at the Via del Mare stadium.

UDINESE

The article is about "Super Quagliarella!!!"  Definitely, it was a big day for Italian football yesterday with Milan and Udinse winning. 

Quagliarella scored a brace in Moscow!  Udinese know they can rely on Quagliarella too since coach Pasquale Marino decided to give resting time to forward Antonio Di Natale.  Udinese who is dueling with Inter to reach the first position of the Serie A is saving their energy for the match on Sunday.

Napoli

Headline says, "Napoli, what a gift to Fans, tickets 0.50 euros"

Anna Italia Opinion - A super gift to Napoli fans to watch the match Napoli - Sampdoria this Sunday at the San Paolo Stadium!  Wow, guys, what a way to say "thank you" to the fans.  18,000 tickets have been sold and they expect an attendance of 50,000! 

Fans, those who paid their membership from the Curve A and B will pay only 50 cents for the tickets of Coppa Italia to watch Napoli-Salernitana.  I love how Napoli President De Laurentis not only supports the team but also he builds the relation with fans.  Napoli guys, despite being eliminated from the UEFA Cup, is one of the serious contenders for the Scudetto this season.  Hey, they have 20 points just 2 behind AC Milan the top leaders with 22 points.  Napoli already put their defeat against Milan in the past and now their attention is to beat Sampdoria.

Good thing for Napoli is having now former Napoli forward Diego Armando Maradona as Argentina Head Coach.  Maradona not forgetting his years with Napoli is paying attention to the progress of forwards German Denis and Ezequiel Lavezzi. I like the words of  Napoli DG Marino saying he hope Maradona visits them at the San Paolo  because is like "the story of Napoli returning to the city and he would be received as one of their own not like Argentina Head coach." Wow, that's beautiful and you bet Maradona woould rather feel at home like one the members of the family. 

Maradona even said he would be willing to play a friendly match against Napoli with the Argentina National Team and use Denis and Lavezzi.  This will be wonderful!!! Don't you think?  Plus, Maradona also said that he would like to play a friendly match against Italy --hopefully at the San Paolo Stadium too!  Hey, that's a proud Napoli player talking.  Forza Maradona!

FC Inter - Mario Balotelli

Headline says, "Balotelli: My mom and dad are looking for me because I now play in the Serie A."

Anna Italia Opinion - This is the news that upsets me!  I feel so sad for Mario Balotelli who has to endure now a conflicting moment when his natural parents are looking for him just because he is playing in the Serie A and is famous.  Balotelli was raised by an Italian family who gave them love and treated him as a true son.

Balotelli just exploded against the "sudden" affection of his biological  parents Thomas and rose Barwuah.  Balotelli doesn't even call them parents but Mr. and Mrs.  Wow.  Hey, I don't blame him.  Point is that Balotelli was abandoned by his biological parents disappearing while he was raised by the Italian family "Balotelli."  Of course, now that Balotelli has become a celebrity and earning money, the appearance of his biological parents wanting to have a piece of the pie bothers him greatly.  Why not look for him when he was still a boy, a nobody, and waited until now?

This is why Balorelli publicly declared that he does not consider the Barwuah as his parents but the "BALOTELLI" who raised him and not abandoned him. Balotelli was 2 years old when the court assigned  Silvia and Franco Balotelli the responsibility to raise Mario.  This whole story gets me mad because one cannot play with the feelings of a boy and wait until he is grown up to catch up.  Balotelli speaks so upset about why Mr. and Mrs. Barwuah appears in photos with a sad face holding his photo wearing Inter's jersey asking for sympathy.  Why not looking for him before?  So sad and I applaud Balotelli's TRUE parents, as he calls them, Mamma Silvia and Papa Franco.
