Time for Juventus to affirm their leadership at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium against Real Madrid with former Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro.
Players are entering the field and the anthem of the Champions League sounds, wow, so majestic!!! Forza Juventus, come on!!!
It's so amazing to see two great captains leading their groups Raul for Real Madrid and Alessandro Del Piero for Juventus. Two great symbols, icons, but only one can take the victory today. We hope it will be Del Piero as Italian Soccer Serie A supports Juventus for representing Italian football in this European competition.

Guti just moves away the extra happy Del Piero celebrating his goal with his traditional "Linguaccia." Forza Del Piero!
Guys, what else to say about Del Piero? He is really rocking! Just wonder why Italian Head Coach Marcello Lippi does not want to call him? WHY? Del Piero is constantly making a difference with the team and a great motivator for his teammates. Del Piero, who will turn 34 years old on Sunday, November 9, far from getting old seems getting younger!

Amauri and Del Piero celebrating Del Piero's goal. What an inspiration for Amauri playing with this Juve flag legend.
Point is that Del Piero with his goals, assists, and team player is silencing all his critics.
I wonder what Maradona watching from the tribune says about the great exhibition from Del Piero.
In the 24th minute, wow, scarry moment... Wesley Sneijder provides an assist to Real Madrid Sergio Ramos who had the chance to equalize the match with a right footed shot from the center of the box and luckily for La Vecchia Signora it went too high!
I am noticing Juventus a bit nervous. I hope the keep focused and not allow spaces for Raul or Van Nistelrooy the two leathal weapons of the Merengues.
Come on forza Juve! It will be ideal to see a goal by Amauri too!
Juventus is giving too many chances to Real Madrid. In the 37th minute, Guti sends an assist to Van Nistelrooy shooting from outside the box and again, luckily for Juve the ball went too high.
So weird to see our former Juventus and Italy's captain Fabio Cannavaro battling against his teammate Del Piero.
Wow.... just ending the first half and Guti with a chance to equalize and Ollof Mellberg clears the danger! Forza Juve, come on!!!
What a golden moment! A KODAK moment! Guys, in the 67th minute, a free kick taken by Juve flag Alessandro Del Piero and you won't believe it, unless you see it. Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Cassilas instruct the barrier to form a wall and he positions himself to prevent another goal by Del Piero. Well, let me tell you, Del Piero with his style shoots from outside the box and Casillas did not have even time to move but just observe the direction of the ball to the bottom left corner and it is the second goal of Del Piero!!!! This is the 41st goal of Del Piero in the Champions League!!! Wow...
Real Madrid 0 - 2 FC Juventus
Great way to celebrate for all Juventus players. Del Piero "the man of the match." The symbol of this rebirth, the comeback of Juventus! Bravo for Del Piero! Ranieri jumped and his face expresses the joy of seeing his team winning after so many critics for the supposedly crisis. What crisis? This is the comeback from Juventus! Bring the cheerleaders for DEL PIEROOOOOO

Go Del Piero, Go Del Piero, Go Del Piero!!!
Definitely, Cannavaro has only words of admiration for Del Piero. They can be rivals right now but they are good friends. Del Piero showing a tough lesson to Real Madrid.
Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri makes his first substitution in the 84th minute. Amauri out, Vincenzo Iaquinta in.
Amauri leaves the field with an applause from Juventus fans. Great to see the good friendship between Iaquinta and Amauri.
Real Madrid already made their 3 substitutions.
wow, guys, in the 87th minute, Del Piero had a chance to score another goal and misses the target after an assist by Vincenzo Iaquinta. Another goal would have send Real Madrid fans in despair!
This is a day to celebrate Italian football with the great comeback of Juvetnus to the Champions League. One can only feel proud watching the beautiful match from Del Piero.
Great also for Juventus goalkeeper Alexander Manninger keeping a clean sheet. Well done.
In the 90th minute, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri makes his second substitution. Alessandro Del Piero out, Paolo De Ceglie in.A well deserved unanimous ovation from Real Madrid and Juventus fans to thank Del Piero. Wow, I am so proud of Del Piero!!! Del Piero accepts the substitution without a problem and happily sit on the bench next to two players of the young team called up for this match.
Well done Capitano!
That's it! Match over.... after 46 years Juventus win at the Santiago Bernabeu to the disappointment of Real Madrid fans whistling the team while applauding Juventus.
