Here is the starting eleven formation for Fiorentina by Coach Cesare Prandelli:

Sebastien Frey, Alessandro Gamberini, Dario Dainelli, Felipe Melo, Massimo Gobbi, Luciano Zauri, Mario Santana, Riccardo Montolivo, Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Adrian Mutu, and Alberto Gilardino.

Here is the starting eleven formation for Bayern Munich by Coach Jurgen Klinsman:

Michael Rensing, Martin Demichelis, Ferreira Lucio, Ze Roberto, Massimo Oddo, Tim Borowski, Mark Van Bommel, Franck Ribery, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Lukas Podolski, and Miroslav Klose.

A familiar face in Bayern is former AC Milan defender Massimo Oddo. Former Fiorentina forward Luca Toni did not make it to this match for injury.

Incredible, just in the 10th minute, and the party explodes at the Artemio!   Forward Alberto Gilardino provides a headed pass to Adrian Mutu shooting from the center of the box directly to the top right corner blasting Beyern Munich goalkeeper Rensing.
Fiorentina 1 - 0 Bayern Munich

Just unbelievable, but something is not clicking with Fiorentina.   In the 78th minute, Bayern Munich Tim Borowski equalizes the score with a right footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner blasting Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey and all Fiorentina fans!
Fiorentina 1 - 1 Bayern Munich

Even if this match ends with a draw, it has the meaning of a defeat because Fiorentina seems not finding stability. Plus, making matters worse, Lyon beat Steaua Bucharest leaving Fiorentina in the third position with only 3 points.  The two top teams  of Group F are Lyon and Bayern Munich with 8 points each.

Fiorentina ends the match with 45% ball possession while Bayern Munich had 55% ball possession.
