The day has come for AC Milan and Napoli to take the lead of the Serie A Standing after Udinese obtained a draw with Genoa remaining with 21 points.

wow, guys, I am watching the match on RAI ITALIA and my heart is pounding!
This is a crucial match for Milan and Napoli.

Last time Napoli beat Milan in San Siro was during the 1985-1986 Season on April 13, 1986. Napoli 2 -1  with goaldano and Diego Armando Maradona. Can Napoli beat Milan today?  We will find out in 90 minutes.

Here is the starting eleven formation for AC Milan by Coach Carlo Ancelotti:

Abbiati; Zambrotta, Bonera, Favalli, Jankulovski; Gattuso, Seedorf, Ambrosini; Kakà, Ronaldinho; Borriello.

Here is the starting eleven formation for Napoli by Coach Edy Reja:

Iezzo; Santacroce, Cannavaro, Contini; Maggio, Blasi, Gargano, Marek Hamsik, Mannini; German Denis, Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Wow, players are shaking hands.  What a special moment for former Napoli player AC Milan defender Marek Jankulovski who played for Napoli in the 2001-2002 season making his debut with Napoli on November 1.

Let's see how the battle of the "South Americans" do in San Siro.  For Milan, the Brazilians Kaka, Pato, Ronaldinho and for Napoli, the Argentinians German Denis and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Although I like Napoli and love Hamsik-Denis-Lavezzi, I am a Milan fan, so I am cheering for my MILAN!  Forza rossoneri!

Imagine guys that between Milan-Napoli, it is Milan taking the lead winning 29 matches, draw 20 whle Napoli has only won 11.

AC Milan - Napoli

Let's get set because Referee Gianluca Rocchi whistles the beginning of the match.... show time!!!!

Hey, wow... in the 4th minute, first chance to score is for Napoli!!!  Forward German Denis provides an assit to his buddy Argentinian Ezequiel Lavezzi who shoots from outside the box and boy was I scared!   Thanks God it was blocked!  Mamma mia!!!!  Come on Milan!!!

In the 6th minute, it is AC Milan to react with forward Marco Borriello though missing the target when the ball went too high to the left!  Oh no, come on guys!

You bet Maradona is watching this match!!!

In the 16th minute, another missed target!!! This is not possible!  Wake up guys!! AC Milan dmidfielder Massimo Ambrosini sends an assist to Clarence Seedorf shooting from the distance about 35 yards and misses the target to the right!  I can't see these missing chances guys!!!!

One mistake by any of the team and might cost the valuable "3 golden points."

Time to concentrate, be focused.

In the 19th minute, the first yellow card goes to Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini for a foul.  Gee....

In the 21st minute, Musica and Magia KAKA shooting from outside the box and Milan fans jumping to see the direction of the ball and is blocked!  Oh nooooooo

MILAN-NAPOLI: LA CORSA DI KAKA'

In the 25th minute, what a chance for Napoli!!! Wow, forward Ezequiel Lavezzi shooting from outside the box to the bottom left corner though Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati saves!!!!

In the 28th minute, another yellow card this time for Napoli midfielder Christian Maggio for a foul.

This is madness!!!!  You can sense the tension of the match.

In the 30th minute,  it's the turn for the Brazilian forward Ronaldinho Gaucho with a right footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner and guess what? what Well, Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo saves!!!

In the 37th minute, Referee Gianluca Rocchi gives a yellow card to Napoli forward German Denis for a foul.

In the 39th minute, Musica and Magia Kaka gets an assist by the roaring lion Gennaro Gattuso and shoots to the bottom right corner... nooooo... Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo saves!!!

In the 43rd minute, Referee Gianluca Rocchi gives a yellow card to KAKA for a bad foul too!

Hello too many yellow cards already. Both teams need to calm down or they risk getting a red card and losing control of the match. Here is where experienced players must give example to the younger players.  Mistakes cannot be done in this type of matches where there is a lot at risk.

Oh no... what was I saying????!!!  Unbelievable!!!  In the 44th minute, Referee Gianluca Rocchi gives the second yellow card to Napoli midfielder Cristian Maggio and he is sent off!!  Wow, Napoli remains with 10 players.  What a lost and unnecessary fouls by Maggio who did not keep his coolness and paying now the consequences.

In the 46th minute, Napoli coach Edy Reja makes his first substitution.  Marek Hamsik out, Aronica in

Pato is warming up!!!!  Hip hip hurrah... Wow, guys, then we will see the KA-PA-RO again... all three Brazilians in action Kaka, Pato, and Ronaldinho.

In the 52nd minute, Kaka commits a foul on Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce. Oh oh, it seems Santacroce cannot continue... leaving the field on a stretcher.. no, he stands up seems he is coming back.
Nope. Oh boy,  Santacroce is upset because he wanted to come back but Reja substitutes him.

In the 55th minute, Napoli coach Edy Reja makes his second substitution. Fabiano Santacroce is out, Michele Pazienza in.

In the 58th minute, Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi shoots from the edge of the area and Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati saves.

In the 60th minute, AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes a substitution. Massimo Ambrosini out, Pato in.

Now, we are talking guys, we have the famous KA-PA-RO. Let's see if this will work.  Having an extra man and up to 60 minutes Milan not scoring yet!!!

Pato made his debut with a goal precisely against Napoli.  Can he repeat the same again?  I mean scoring a goa I hope so.

Guys, time for Super Pippo Inzaghi!!!!!  In the 71st minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes his second substitution and time for Filippo Inzahgi replacing Marco Borriello.  Milan fans give a standing ovation to Inzaghi and applaud also Borriello.

Inzaghi and Pato will now be the dynamic duo trying to break Napoli's defense.

Wow... what an attack from the rossoneri... In the 73rd minute, Kaka shoots and hit the post, then Zambrotta tries and passes to Ronaldinho and is blcoked.  Kaka insists and Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo clears the danger and corner for Milan.

In the 74th minute, what golden moment!!!  Musica and Magia Kaka sends an assist to Pato who does not make it.  An unbelievable wasted chance when Pato was only 2 steps away from Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo and his headed ball misses the target from close range.... only inches!!!!

In the 76th minute, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti makes his last substitution.   Giuseppe Favalli out, Kakha Kaladze in.

In the 85th minute, Referee Gianluca Rocchi grants a penalty to Milan for a handball by Michele Pazienza.

kaka takes position, get set... ready... shooot... what? Oh no!!!  NO, NO, NO , NO , NO Kaka failed to convert his penalty and Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo becomes the hero of the match!!!!!  He saves!!!!! Mamma miaaaaaaa  I am fainting!!! Can't beliee Kaka missed!

Wait, wait, just wait it is GOOOAALLLLLLLLLL Ronaldinhoooo this is crazy guys, not only a minute has passed.  In the 86th minute,  I am recovering  my sanity with Ronaldinho's goal!!!!!!! Yes, no, yes, no, yes, no, yes.. wait.. an own goal by Denis?  No, it is given to Ronaldinho.... oh welll... what matters is that with this goal MILAN IS IN THE FIRST POSITION  Indeed, it is an own goal.  Denis deflected the ball and credit is given as "an own goal." Wow..

Guys the Rossoneri celebrates and join Ronaldinho for this brilliant shot heading to goal anyway.  Everybody  forgot about Kaka's missing penalty.  It is time to rejoice and celebrate the 3 points and being in the first position of the Italian Serie A with 22 points.

I personally credit Napoli's defense for keeping a tough front and also Napoli goalkeeper Iezzo making great saves. Yet, at the end, Milan shows the drive to survive gathering forces in the last minute with Ronaldinho Gaucho. The duel of the South Americans was won by the Brazilians of Milan with a helping hand from Argentinian Napoli forward German Denis.

Forza Milan!
