Positive news for Juventus because  Zenit-Bate ended with a 1-1 draw! Therefore, either if Juventus lose or draw they will still be in the second position. Still, the target is to win at home. Forza Juventus.

What a moment, I am watching the match on ESPN DEPORTES.  I love it how they focus the players, close up.  What a moment to see Fabio Cannavaro with his ex teammates.  Both teams now in the field and a proud Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero commanding his team. Forza Juve!!!

Referee Wolfgang Stark whistles the beginning of the match. Match starts guys.... let's be in for a victorious ride.  La vecchia signora must win, should win!  Forza Juve, come on!

What a beginning guys!  In the very 1st minute, Zdenek Grygera provides the assist to forward Amauri who heads from the center of the box only to be saved by Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Hey, guys, this is good, a clear message to Real Madrid that they mean business and are here to win.

What? wow? when?? Say what, really? YES, YES, YES, YES, Guys stand up because there is action in Juve!!!  In the 5th minute, the great Juventus flag and Captain - my beloved Alessandro Del Piero - with an inspired room and leaving behind his former teammate Fabio Cannavro comes with a right footed shot from outside the box shooting a powerful super goal to the top right corner blasting Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

October 21, 2008, Olimpico Turin Stadium, UEFA Champions League Group Stage H Juventus - Real Madrid - Juventus Captain forward Alessandro Del Piero celebrates his goal giving the lead to Juventus.  A classic celebration with his "linguaccia." Bravo Del Piero.  Photo: Ap

The Olimpico explodes!!!  Bring the cheerleaders for Alessandro Del Piero. Wow, I love it!  Let me stand up and do my cheer leading dance too!!! The fans are all for Juventus and the best opening is with DEL PIERO!  Awesome!  Brilliant!  Splendid!

It is Del Piero's moment who before the match said that in his 16 years with Juventus this was one of the most special matches. Hello, you bet it is.  Del Piero along the old guard Nedved, Trezeguet, Buffon, Camoranesi have dreamed for 2 years to play in the Champions League when they were relegated to the Serie B for the Calciopolis scandal.

Wow, this is why I am so proud of Del Piero's goal today!  What am I talking about!  Proud of Del Piero's career, an Italian footballer icon!  Brin the cheerleaders!!!!!

Go Del Piero, Go Del Piero, Go Del Piero!!!

Just as expected by former Juventus Fabio Cannavaro, he is being whistled, boo at the Olimpico every time he touches the ball.  I agree with the whistles because Cannavaro was one of the first one to abandon the sinking boat along with Zambrotta and Ibrahimovic.

Awesome, guys, in the 18th minute, Juventus forward Del Piero provides an assist to Amauri who shoots from the left side of the box and what a luck is blocked!!!!  Come on Forza Amauri, we are all cheering for you. Forza Amauri!
In the 20th minute, an assist by Real Madrid Gonzalo Higuain to Rafael van der Vaart who shoots from the center of the box and thanks God Juventus goalkeeper Alexander Manninger saves!!!! wow.. I love it guys!!!! Great, we need an inspired Manninger! Forza Juve, come on, let's not concede goals.  Cheer up guys!

Wow, Real Madrid is pressing more and more.  Again same combination Higuain-van der Vaart being a clear and present danger for Juve, a minute later and they missed the target. good.!!!!

In the 27th minute, Amauri missed the target!!!! Zedenek Grygera provides the assist and Amauri with a headed ball from the center of the box misses the target to the right... OH NOOOOOOOOO the Stadium almost shouted the GOALLL,  Forza Amauri, let's be focused.  We need you to score, Forza!!!  You can do it.

Oh no, guys, not another injury!  Juve cannot afford to lose more players for injury!  Match is delayed in the 34th minute. I am afraid Marchisio won't be able to continue. This is bad news for Juventus.

wow, indeed, guys, Marchisio cannot continue.  In the 38th minute, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri is forced to make his first substitution. Claudio Marchisio out, Hasan Salihamidzic in.

In the 40th minute, wow!  It would have been a disaster to end the first half with a draw. Thanks God Sergio Ramos was offside!!!!

Forza Juve,  come on.  Forza Del Piero and Amauri!!! Come on guys.

Second half starts and bad news continue for Juventus with injured players. In the 46th minute, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri forced to make his second substitution for injury.  Nicolas Legrottaglie out, Mellberg in.
wow, no wonder why Juve is doing so poorly in the Serie A, too many injured players and Camoranesi still not ready to play.

GOOOOOAAALLLLLLLLL  AMAURII!!!!!  Guys, we were hoping for Amauri's goal and there he is.   In the 49th minute,  Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved provides an assist to Amauri  who is in the right place and in the right moment to head the ball from the center of the box directly to the bottom right corner sending Juve fans to paradise and blasting Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.  It's the fist goal of Amauri with Juventus in the Champions League.
FC Juventus 2 - 0 Real Madrid

Gee, Referee Wolfgang Stark gives a yellow card to Amauri for excessive celebration when removing his jersey.

Go Amauri, Go Amauri, Go Amauri!!

Awesome!!! Guys I love this goal, I love the match!!!  Come on!!! Forza... The one happier must be Ranieri saving his post with this important victory. I hope it will be a boost to their morale to recover lost terrain in the Serie A too.  Forza Juvents, come on, NON MOLLARE!!!!

Oh no, guys, Real Madrid returned with la grinta, a drive to press Juventus.  Juve better keep focused because we cannot lose this match.

In the 65th minute, Juventus goalkeeper Manninger makes a save after Rafael van der Vaart heads the ball from the center of the box to the top left corner. Bravo for Manninger forza!!!

Oh noooooo... NO, NO, NO and NO!!! In the 66th minute, a disaster guys, Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze provides the assist to forward Ruud van Nistelrooy heading the ball from the center of the box to the top left corner and this time Juventus goalkeeper Manninger cannot save.  wowww... oh noooooo
FC Juventus 2 - 1 Real Madrid

Oh no, this is not good news because Juve risks drawing the match.  Real Madrid is just pressing and pressing.  Come on Juventus... Forza!!! Come on!

In the 73rd minute, chance for Amauri after an assist by Juve goalkeeper Alexander Manninger and when Amauri shoots from outside the box is blocked!  Oh no!   Let's do it Amauri, come on, forza!

Real Madrid makes a substitution in the 76th minute. Rafael van der Vaart out, Royston Drenthe in

In the 78th minute, last substitution for Juventus.  Amauri out, Vincenzo Iaquinta in.
Amauri leaves the field with a standing ovation. Hey, well done Amauri!!!!! Bravo!

In the 82nd minute, Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved provides an assist to Salihamidzic shooting from the left side of the box and is blocked!  wow, guys, but it is good to see Juventus fighting with all their strength. Now, they are slowing down Real Madrid who kept pressing.

Forza!!!!!  8 more minutes guys, we can do it... resist!!!!

I love how Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is celebrating even before Referee whistles the end of the match.  Just love it... one minute......

No Mercy for Real Madrid Goalkeeper Iker Casillas blasted twice at the Olimpico di Turin.
