The big day for AC Milan to take control of their "destiny" in the Italian league and they did it with flying colors by the hand of Ronaldinho and Filippo Inzaghi.
Here is the starting eleven formation for AC Milan by Coach Carlo Ancelotti:
SAMPDORIA (3-5-1-1): Castellazzi; Lucchini, Gastaldello, Bottinelli; Paladino, Sammarco, Franceschini, Zegler, Pieri; Delvecchio, Antonio Cassano
Is it a joyous day or what for Milan fans? You bet it is!
Ronaldinho promised Milan to bring "joy and goals" and he is certainly fulfilling his promise. The joy delivered by Ronaldinho in San Siro today was just to the top. The goals? Excellent! Just when AC Milan needed the 3 points and winning convincingly, there he was ready to deliver.

Yet, let's not forget the "eternal striker" Filippo Inzaghi who came as a substitute in the 79th minute for striker Marco Borriello. Inzaghi needed only 11 minutes to send the adrenalina to the maximum level not only from Milan players, but from all the ROSSONERO world including Milan President Silvio Berlusconi and VP Adriano Galliani.
Point guys is that AC MILAN is back in town and dueling to win the Scudetto. The dream is becoming closer to win the Scudetto and the UEFA Cup.
The first wake up call arrives in the 6th minute with Sampdoria star Antonio Cassano sending the message that he was there to win. Blocking Cassano's message was AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati making a save saying "Not today Cassano."
Let's be objective and give credit to Sampdoria who dominated the first part with their constant attack. Milan at times was slow and Sampdoria profitted but could not convert those opportunities into goals for one simple reason: Goalkeeper Christian Abbiati. It was his night, making save after save. Abbiati-Cassano duel in the first half.
A different Milan in the second half with the substitution in the 46th minute from Pato by his Brazilian buddy Musica and Magia KAKA.
There is nothing to say that Kaka when inspired can add those "solo runs" and change the rhythm of the match. It was a change of gear for Milan becoming faster and the rest... just magic wit the happy notes of the Samba unfolding....
In the 54th minute, Referee Damato sent off Stefano Lucchini for accumulation of yellow cards after a foul on Ronaldinho inside the area. Penalty was granted to Milan and it was the Samba boy to convert the penalty positioning himself in the penalty spot. A moment of suspension, everybody focused on the penalty spot and waiting for Ronaldinho, get set, ready, shoot... yes, yes, yes, and you got it ... A GOAL it is! The samba party just started in San Siro.
AC Milan 1 - 0 Sampdoria

Musica and Magia Kaka with his buddy Ronaldinho continued the SAMBA
party in San Siro. For heaven sake, let the SAMBA keep going on and do
not stop!!!
In teh 66th minute, the Brazilian combination KAKA provides the assist to Ronaldinho, already dancing the samba with a left footed shot from the center of the box shoots to the bottom right corner and BAM BAM BAM! GOAAALLLLLL Blasting Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazzi.
AC Milan 2 - 0 Sampdoria
In the 90th minute, the Italian Opera adding the climax to the Samba show with Super Pippo Inzaghi! Midfielder Massimo Ambrossini provides the assist and Inzaghi hungry to score shoots from the center of the box to the center of the goal and voila bring down the curtains because the show is over and time to party at the ballroom dancing. Let's dance "La Copa de la Vida!!!' What a final blast to Sampdoria goalkeeper Castellazzi. Certainly, he won't forget this night in San Siro.
AC Milan 3 - 0 Sampdoria
The dominion of Milan clearly reflecting with the 59% ball possession as opposed to 41% of Sampdoria. True, in the first half Milan missed some goal opportunities with forward Marco Borriello and Pato. Yet, slowly started dominating the match and Sampdoria losing control.
The good thing is that Milan is recovering most of their players and reaching their top form. The glory of seeing Captain Paolo Maldini leading his beloved Milan back to their glorious day is just spectacular. Forza Capitano.
Forza Milan!!
