NAPOLI FORWARD German Denis

Headline says, "Denis visiting us in the newsroom. Napoli is the future."

Anna Italia Opinion - Guys, Am I happy or what! 

Wow, I could not hide my happiness when reading the newspaper and seeing the exclusive interview from  Napoli forward German Denis in the Corriere dello Sport.

Here is what Denis said that Napoli is a strong team with a group playing togher for years.  Advantage is that every year the club add 3 or 4 new players.

I totally agree with Denis. Napoli this season has proven to be a strong team and this is why we were surprised when they were eliminated from the UEFA Cup by Benfica.

Wow, guys, Denis said that "I am convinced that this Napoli is even stronger than what it has demostrated. Too bad we lost against Genoa. I feel the consistency from my teammates and we will have fun playing against Juventus."

Well, Napoli is strong.  Challenge for Napoli coach Edy Reja is to keep that consistency throughout the Championship.  Don't you think guys?

Denis also mentioned about his first years in Italy when he played in Cesena and that almost nobody believed in him, except Toto' De Falco.

Denis said he returned to Italy to prove himself despite having offers from Seville and Getafe.  "The momet I heard Napoli was interested in my transfer, I focused only on Napoli.  Here there is a project and if we all remain together we can even win in five years the Scudetto."

True, Napoli has a good group, I agree with Denis.  I think midfielder Marek Hamsik, Christian Maggio, forwards Ezequiel Lavezzi and German Denis are fundamental players for Napoli. 

Denis also said that between the matches Napoli-Inter and Napoli-Juventus, it is the match against Juventus the most expected match.  "People make you live and feel this match and how much they want it to win.  In Inter there are footballers I admire like Crespo, Zanetti, Cambiasso and Cruz, but it is clearly that here Juve is Juve. I will be ok if we win 1-0.  Hopefully, with one of my goals. Though if there is another to score it will be fine, even goalkeeper Iezzo can score."

I agree with Denis that between Inter and Juve, the match carrying more relevance for "tradition" is with Juventus.

FC JUVENTUS NEXT MATCHES with Napoli and Real Madrid

Headline says, "The club ratifies their confidence to Ranieri. Juventus and Napoli on Sunday and on Tuesday against Real Madrid."

Anna Italia Opinion - Well, two big tests for Juventus without Saint goalkeeper Gigi Buffon still out for injury.  A test for each player starting from second goalkeeper Alexander Manninger, Amauri, and the list goes on.

Amidst the rumors of Ranieri being sacked for the lack of result lately, the club did the best thing to keep stability in the group.  Confirmation of Ranieri as coach was expressed by the Club leaders.  Point is that Juventus need to win this  Sunday against Napoli and then on Tuesday win against Real Madrid for the UEFA Champions League.

wow, two tough opponents and the theater is ready to enjoy the show!!.

Headline says, "Chivu: I miss Sensi"

Anna Italia Opinion - Wow, guys, former Roma defender Christian Chivu returns to the Olimpico to play against Roma.  I am glad to read the words of appreciation from Chivu towards the late Roma president Franco Sensi.

According to Chivu, the most dangerous opponent of Inter is "INTER itself." wow... hey, this was like a BAM!  In a sense I agree.  Well, actually, I disagree.  Last year it was true because Inter dominated the Serie A Table since the beginning.  This season up to Week 6 they have been moving from the first position to the 4th, and so on.  It seems the race for the Scudetto won't be that easy.

When asked about what to expect on Sunday, Chivu said that he does not forget the 4 years he played for Roma because they were important years.  "People demostrated me their love and I have given my maximum whenever I could. If fans want to contest me on Sunday, it will be their right. Whistles? Indifference is worst than whistles."

The journalist told Chivu that the match will be even more difficult for Amantino Mancini.  Chivu said that it could be but that he did not want to interfere. Anyway, he said that it is normal that Roma fans won't receive with "flowers" the ex players.

Wow, guys, it will be a tough one and I want to see how fans will receive Amantino Mancini.  Imagine, I still find it hard to believe he quit Roma to transfer to the most ardent rival!  

Chivu mentioned that Franco Sensi and former coach Fabio Capello believed in him. Good words for Sensi saying he was a man who love football and Roma. I agree with Chivu that great merit for Roma's accomplishments belong to Sensi.

Just to end Chivu's interview. I love his final thoughts that he still keep communication with his ex Roma teammates, including TOTTI, Daniele De Rossi and Alberto Aquilani. "I keep in touch via phone or SMS." Chivu was happy seeing his friend Aquilani scoring the 2 goals in the match Italy-Montenegro.

Roma defender JUAN -  Well headline says, "I am fine and I will play."  I totally agree with Juan that this match against Inter is so important that things have to be taken seriously.  Juan's participation in the match was not certain for injury, though he is now saying that he feels well and will not miss the match.

 That's fine with me guys, how about for you?

AC MILAN

The article talks about the 3 Golden Balls that will play this Sunday against Sampdoria in San Siro: Ronaldinho, Kaka, and Andriy Shevchenko.

Guys, I just hope that this "TRIO of Golden Balls' deliver a victory because another draw or defeat will not be accepted by Milan fans.

Milan with 10 points cannot afford to lose against Sampdoria.  Point is whether the Golden Balls are really ready to help the team with goals. 

Kaka will be tired after returning from Brazil and catching up on "sleeping time."  Easier will be for Ronaldinho who was not called up for the Brazilian National team and had more chance to train  with the team and recover his best shape.

Shevchecko appeared tired in the friendly match against KF.  So, let's see what happens Sunday.




BOLOGNA - LAZIO

Here is also an interesting detail.  Bologna already thinking to replace Coach Arrigoni for MIHAJLOVIC!   Guys, I wont' blame them, Bologna needs to take immediate action to improve their standing.  Good thing is that apparently Mihajlovic agree to be the coach too.

According to the article, Bologna gave another chance to Arrigoni two weeks ago. Normal, that after losing 5 matches and being in the 18th position with only 3 points  that something has to be done, right?  Just in case,  negotiations -- supposedly --- were done with Mijahlovic to be the next coach.

By the way, it is no surprise that the headline says that Lazio could beat Bologna on Sunday. Come on, let's be realistic. Technically speaking, Lazio is stronger than Bologna in every department.  The surprise will be if Bologna beat Lazio.  Don't you think?
