Can you imagine Italy's team might be composed of the UDINESE TRIDENTE!!!! I am all for it because they already have an understanding taking less time to figure out what might work for Italy. Don't you think?  I am saying this because Gilardino got his chance, played well, but could not score against Bulgaria.

The Azzurri did their warm up, stretching, tactical exercises and finished with a practice match game.

AS Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani scored two goals, one of them a penalty.  Quagliarella did not attend the training because he arrived until late afternoon.

Based on the training, if Lippi does not see the convincing performance from the Tridente Udinese, Giuseppe Rossi might start from the beginning.  Either Simone Pepe or Antonio Di Natale might start from the bench.

About 3,000 fans attended the training of the Azzurri.  An enthusiastic crowd and applauding the players. This is good because the Azzurri  needs our support right now.  Guys, I am visualizing the match on Wednesday with the "UDINESE TRIDENTE."  It won't be surprising because Quagliarella plays as central forward with Udinese, so perferctly replaces Luca.

Some muscular problems for AS Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi and AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso. Wow, here, we better start praying because Italy cannot afford more injuries, especially in the midfield missing already Andrea Pirlo.  Gattuso has some pain in his right right knee while for De Rossi contusion in a leg.  Medical tests will be done to determine if they will be available this Wednesday for the match against Montenegro.
