Italian Soccer Serie A congratulates ATALANTA for winning the 14th edition of the Trofeo Achille and Cesare Bortolotti beating Sweden club Goteborg with a convincing victory. Atalanta 4 - 0 Goteborg.

The highlight of the match was seeing Sweden Glen Stromberg from the 80's playing the first 8 minutes until substituted for current Atalanta captain Cristiano Doni. A connection between the past and the present.
Atalanta opened the score in the 27th minute with Captain Cristiano Doni converting a a penalty kick. I love it! Doni is truly Atalanta's symbol and the point of reference.
In the 51st minute, it is Sergio Floccari to increase the score with another penalty. To close the match, a perfect doppietta, a brace from Ferreira Pinto i the 68th minute and the 73rd minute.
It is an important victory for the morale of the team and showing consistency. Atalanta up to the Serie A Week 6 is in the 5th position of the Serie A Standing with 12 points along with Palermo. Top leaders with 13 points are Lazio, Inter, and Udinese.
