Situation:  Milan won the first leg MILAN 3 - 1 ZURICH

Here is the starting eleven formation for AC Milan by Coach Carlo Ancelotti, surprisingly choosing the 4-4-2 instead of his famous Christmas tree:

Goalkeeper:
Dida, Defenders: Gianluca Zambrotta, Daniele Bonera, Kakha Kaladze, Luca Antonini, Midfielders: Mathieu Flamini, Emerson, Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf, Forwards: Ronaldinho and Andriy Shevchenko.

As announced by Ancelotti in yesterday's press conference, we see goalkeeper Dida in the starting lineup. I am just praying for Dida to do well since he has not had enough playing time. Forza Dida!!!!

I  am just laughing seeing the 4-4-2 formation because Milan President Silvio Berlusconi prefers this one instead of the Christmas tree 4-3-2-1... is it a gift for Ancelotti?  Just a thought...

Wow, imagine how much Shevchenko wants to score that in the very beginning he sends the message clear.  In the 2nd minute, Clarence Seedorf provides the assist to Sheva who shoots but the ball is deflected by Leonis and is corner for Milan.

I love this early enthusiasm, seeing the drive from the rossoneri.

My gosh what's going with Milan.... in the 22nd minute, midfielder Massimo Ambrosini showing problems wiht his neck? a neck injury? what? Come on Ambrosini stringi denti. Guys,we cannot afford to lose Ambrosini because we already lost midfielder Andrea Pirlo for injury and our midfield will suffer tremendously if Ambrosini is also out now that Milan can climb the ladder in the Serie A too.

In the 24th minute, Ronaldinho sends a pass to defender Luca Antonini but he is offside. Ok, good try. Forza Ragazzi.

Oh no, problems for Milan, guys.... In the 28th minute, defender Kakha Kaladze showing signs of injury... yes, it is a knee injury and won't be able to continue.

Oh no, Milan has to make the first forced substitution in the 30th minute. Kaladze out, Paolo Maldini in.  My goodness sake, Maldini did not have enough time to warm up. Hope he does well. Forza Capitano.

ZURIGO-MILAN: MALDINI

In the 35th minute, great initiative by midfielder Mathieu Flamini shooting from the distance... though the ball misses the target.

First half ends 0-0
with 37% ball possession for Zurich and 67% ball possession for AC Milan. We need to convert goal opportunities because we are dominating.  Forza... cheer up guys!!!!

In the 60th minute, a clear chance for Zurich to scoare! Almen Abdi right on the edge of the penalty are shoots directly to the goal and luckily for Milan the ball went over the bar. Hey, Milan is allowing space for Zurich. Come on guys...

In the 61st minute second substitution for AC Milan, Massimo Ambrosini out, kaka in.

Just love seeing our Musica and Magia Kaka battiling for Milan! Forza Kakha.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, HALLELLUJAH!!!!!!   GOOOAALLLLL he did it!!!! In the 70th minute, finally our beloved Andriy Shevchenko scores for his Milan.  Ronaldinho provides the assist and Sheva this time profit the chance to blast  Zurich goalkeeper Leoni sending all Milan fans to paradise... I AM JUMPING, CRYING, DOING CARTWHEELS... bring the cheerleadersssss OUR SHEVA IS BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkk   Love it, guys, you got to excuse me but I am so happy for this goal. It is Sheva finally all three Ballon d'or scored!!!!
Zurich 0 - 1 AC Milan

ZURIGO-MILAN: LA GIOIA DI SHEVA DOPO IL GOL

Go Sheva, Go Sheva, Go Sheva!!!!!

Click the video to watch the goal of Andriy Shevchenko and the celebration with his teammates.

Ronaldinho and Sheva celebrate after the goal.  Well done guys!!!!!

ZURIGO-MILAN: L'ABBRACCIO TRA DINHO E SHEVA DOPO IL GOL

In the 76th minute, Ancelotti makes his third substitution. Clarence Seedorf out, Gennaro Gattuso in.  Well done for Seedorf.

                  ZURIGO-MILAN: GATTUSO

In the 81st  minute, Zurich is making their last attempt to win this match and qualifiy to the next phase. Third substitution. Alexandre Alphonse out, Emra Tahirović in.

Ten more minutes guys, and Milan can qualify to the next phase of the Uefa Cup.  Zurich will need to score at least 3 goals and I doubt they can  with few minutes left.  Forza Rossoneri... stringete denti!!!

In the 88th minute, Musica and Magia Kaka  almost double the score  after an assist by Ronaldinho.

             ZURIGO-MILAN: KAKA' IN AZIONE

Say no more guys,  bring the music on!!!!! Cheerleaders!!!  Party time because AC MILAN QUALIFIES TO THE NEXT GROUP PHASE and it was the UNBLOCKING OF OUR BELOVED SHEVA!!! I am just happy, extra happy as a Milan fan and as Italian fan too. We did it!  We dit it guys!  Milan is back in business.  Galliani and Ancelotti got their wish and now all three Ballon D'Or have scored!
