                      Zurich - AC Milan

After winning the Milan Derby, AC Milan has the obligation to win the match Zurich - AC Milan.  For this purpose, AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti called up 20 players.  Not many surprises.  Most likely Ancelotti will have goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, up to the Serie A Week 5 it seems Abbiati has earned the position as first goalkeeper.

Good thing is that Milan won the first leg in San Siro:
MILAN 3 - 1 ZURICH

Defenders the traditional called up players, except Giuseppe Favalli who is injured.

Midfielder is the area to take care of with the absence for injury from Andrea Pirlo.  The two midfielders to take the helm are Massimo Ambrosini and Gennaro Gattuso. I must say that slowly but surely midfielder Mathieu Flamini is convincing me more.  Bravo.

Here are the 20 players called up by AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti for the UEFA Cup away match against Zurich on Thursday, October 1, 2008:

Goalkeepers: Christian Abbiati, Dida, Zeljko Kalac,

Defenders: Luca Antonini, Daniele Bonera, Darmian, Marek Jankulovski, Kakha Kaladze, Paolo Maldini, Ruggeri (n.55), Ginaluca Zambrotta,

Midfielders: Massimo Ambrosini, Emerson, Mathieu Flamini,  Gennaro Gattuso,

Forwards: Kakà, Alexandre Pato, Clarence Seedorf, Andriy Shevchenko, Ronaldinho.
