Here are the group stage standings, fixtures and results of our 4  Italian Serie A Clubs: FC Internazionale, FC Juventus, AS Roma, and Fiorentina.

The position of my blog Italian Soccer Serie A   is to support all 4 of our Italian Serie A clubs because they represent our Italian Serie A football in this European competition.

Only the top 2 of each group pass to the next round. Fiorentina lost against Olympique Lyon in Matchday 5 and is now eliminated from the Champions League from Group F, passing Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyon.

Great news with AS ROMA defeating Bordeaux at the Olimpico and passing to the next phase as leader of Group A with 12 points.

A sweet and sour news with FC Internazionale losing the second match in the Champions League against Werder Bremen. Yet, Inter qualify to the next phase as second of Group B.

Fiorentina is already out of the next phase while Juventus still leads Group H.  Juventus  despite de 0-0 draw result finishes as Group Leader. Fiorentina a decent way to say good bye to the Champions League by beating Steaua with a goal from Alberto Girlardino in the 66th minute.  Well done to all our Italian teams.
