RESULT Coppa Italia REGGINA 4 - 0 CAGLIARI Goals by Fabio Ceravolo and Franco Brienza "Regggina Queen of the Night"
Italia
Reggina 4 - 0 Cagliari
52' Fabio Ceravolo
69' Franco Brienza
74' Fabio Ceravolo
89' Franco Brienza
Talking about winning convincingly, what a goleada! A total surprise! I just could not believe it. Supposedly, goalkeeper Lupatelli was going to do a better job with Cagliari than what goalkeeper Federico Marchetti was doing. Yet, hello, hello, knock, knock, anybody home? A SUPER GOLEADA!!! Cagliari conceding 4 goals to none! Ouch.
I am happy for ex Palermo forward Franco Brienza because he scored a brace, a doppietta in the 69thand 89th minute! Just love it! Then, forward Fabio Ceravolo also scoring a brace in the 52nd and 74th minute. Wow... you bet Reggina is optimistic and with their morale high to face AS Roma on Sunday at the Olimpico Stadium for the Italian Serie A Week 3.
Too bad Cagliari forward Robert Acquafresca returning from injury could not score. Hope he gets back in shape ASAP for Cagliari's sake.
