FC INTER - Serie A Week 2:
FC Inter - Catania
Headline says, "Zenga Against His Past: Inter I will defeat you. I have my blood black and blue, but I want Catania to make history. I have studied Mourinho, and I know how to stop him. Anyway, he will recover soon."
Anna Italia Opinion - Oh my gosh! What is Zenga doing? No doubt Zenga is A TRUE INTER FAN, hello, knock, knock, anybody home? Zenga played for Inter as goalkeeper from 1982 to 1994.
Yet, I think Zenga should have limited to say that he wanted to make history with Catania but going to the limit saying "he has studied Mourinho and know how to stop him." It's a bit too upfront.
I mean, it's ok. I understand him but how about IF HE DOESN'T MAKE HISTORY with Catania and ends up with a goleada by "Inter "B" squad.?"
Zenga is sounding more like MOURINHO, LOL.
Rather have the attitude of Mourinho in this article where he says, he is thinking in the match against Catania, but also on his debut in the Champions League with Inter against Panathinaikos.
Sure, Mourinho will not go to Catania with his "A" team because around 9 of his International players would be so tired arriving Friday afternoon like the Argentinians Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Zanetti and the Brazilians Julio Cesar and Maicon.
Mourinho will use a "forced turnover." Instead of Maicon, then, most likely young player Santon might make his debut. Instead of using forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic who plays today with Sweden and will need to be at his top for Tuesday's Champions League match, Mourinho might use Argentinian forward Julio Cruz. The only fresh tomatoe playing from the "big shots" will be midfielder Ricardo Quaresma who made his debut with Inter in the friendly match.

So, Zenga rather have studied super well Mourinho to pass his tests with flying colors. Don't you think?
I talked more about Zenga's declarations here:
Why You Always Ask About Mourinho? Why Not Ask Mourinho what does he think of Italian coaches?" Catania Coach Walter Zenga
AS ROMA - Midfielder Alberto Aquilani
Headline says, "About the renewal of my contracts, many lies. My will is to stay in Roma."
Anna Italia Opinion - What a relief! Now, I can enjoy the rest of the day because AQUILANI is staying with La Magica Roma. So many rumors that he was leaving and that was the reason for not signing his contract. Well, here, in this article Aquilani says that it has been more anguish for the press than for himself. Aquilani said that he has never rejected any offer from AS Roma. Simply put guys, Aquilani stopped all the rumors going on saying that those are only rumors because his will is to stay with Roma.
Aquilani gave his declarations while being training with the Italian National Team in Udine to prepare the 2010 World Cup South Africa Qualifier Europe Group 8: Italy - Georgia
It seems Aquilani will have some playing time today against Georgia.
Italian Head Coach wants players to give their hearts in the match. The least thing Lippi wants is to have another weak match. This time Lippi is keeping focus on an Offensive Italy to score and dominate the match. Though, problems this morning for Lippi when Italy defender Nicola Legrottaglie had to stop training for a muscular problem in his right leg.
My question is if Lippi wants a more offensive Italy, why not having the forwards who are really scoring? I am talking about Antonio Di Natale -- Thanks God he is confirmed in the starting eleven, Alberto Gilardino, and why insisting on Luca Toni??? Luca is not having a good period right now. Time to try Vincenzo Iaquinta or even Alessandro Del Piero as a super sub in case of not fully recovering to play the 90 minutes.

The newspaper also mentions about Georgia Head Coach Hector Cuper sending the message to Italy: "Don't underestimate us." Hey, I totally agree with Cuper. If underestimating Georgia, we might end up with a big surprise. Point is to play like champions agaisnt Georgia, period.
NAPOLI
Napoli will contest the Sporting Justice decision because there is technically one error. The sporting justice mentioned about Napoli's responsibility citing violation of Article 4 (responsibility of the Club), comma 3 then it goes to Article 14, which is responsibility of the club for violence of supporters, comma 1. Bottomline is that the article tals about "the club responsible for violent acts in the match from supporters be it inside the structure or outside."
Since the article talks "exclusively" about incidents in the "own stadium" Napoli has the advantage that the violent acts did not occu in Napoli but in Roma during the match Roma - Napoli. Therefore arricle 14, technically, won't apply to the banning of using San Paolo and keeping the doors open to fans.
The Justice decided to close the Curve in San Paolo for Napoli fans unitl October 31. This is why tomorrow it is expected to revoke this decision based on the "error" of applying the wrong Article. Simply put, Napoli was being punished at home for something that did not happen at the San Paolo. Mattia Grassani, Napoli's Lawyer, will deal with this issue tomorrow.
At least in this part, I agree that the law made a mistake. Yet, the damages done by thousands of euros in Roma by Napoli fans, that, must be punished. Don't you think?
It is confirmed. Cagliari signed goalkeeper Lupatelli for an annual contract. This is the best signing! It was obvious that goalkeeper Marchetti who came from the Serie B AlbinoLeffe, could not replace goalkeeper Marco Storari. The results were obvious during the pre-season training and friendly international matches.
I give thumbs up to Cagliari for finally LISTENING....
Italy Under-21
The article is about the qualification of the Azzurrini! The Italian Under-21 qualified yesterday to the the playoff of the UEFA Under 21 Championship after finishing with a draw against Croatia.
- RESULT UEFA Under 21 European Championship Croatia U-21 1 - 1 Italy U-21 Goal by Marco Motta "Italy qualifies for the PLAYOFFS!!"
. GIANFRANCO ZOLA to West Ham
Guys, this is a good news for Zola! It is confirmed that Zola is the new coach of West Ham! Wow, Zola was the assistant to Italy Coach for Italy Under 21 Pierluigi Casiraghi. Zola said that the worst moment was saying good bye yesterday after the match to the Azzurrini. Zola, who played for the English club Chelsea, is one of the youngest coaches in the EPL wiht only 42 years old. Good luck to Zola!!!
