"Greece were superior to us physically in the second half. They were running more than us, but I expected that as only one game has been played in Serie A so far and most of my players did not even get on the pitch then. I expect a tough game in Croatia. We will have to battle but I remain confident," Italy coach Pierlugi Casiraghi.

Italian Coach Pierluigi Casiraghi starts with the following formation: Consigli; Motta, Andreolli, Criscito, De Ceglie; Candreva, Cigarini, Marchisio, Dessena; Giovinco, Balotelli

Great news for Italy because the Azzurrini playing better than what we saw  agaisnt Greece.

In the 7th minute, great combo package in a counterattack with Balotelli, Giovinco, and Marchisio passing the ball to Dessena who missed the target.

In the 37th minute, Referee Said Ennjimi  grants a corner to Italy.  Just imagine taking the corner is young Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco. Then, guess what hapened.... Captain Marco Motta handy in the area gets the ball and heads the ball blasting Croatia goalkeepe kelava!!!

In the 40th minute, Croatia midfielder Ljubicic commits a bad foul on Mario Blotelli and is on the ground. Imagine, he had to leave the field on stretcher and Referee Said Ennjimi  does not book Ljubicic. Unbelievable!

Italian coach Pierluigi Casiraghi makes his first substitution. In the 59th minute, Inter forward Mario Balotelli out, and time for Fiorentina forward Osvaldo.

Well, good for Balotelli playing his second match with the Azzurrini.

In the 69th minute,  Croatia scared the Azzurrini when Ilicevic shoots with the left foot and thanks God Italy goalkeeper Consigli was awake deviating the ball.  Saved by the bell!!!  Forza Consigli!

Unbelievable, but only 8 minutes before the end of the match and Croatia equalized the score!

In the 82nd minute, the defense was caught already tired and maybe too confident by now?  Well, Kulsic equalized the score.

Thanks God match is over!  Wha suffering ending!  Time for "cheer leading dance" because the Azzurrini qualifies for the playoff!!!

Go Azzurrini, Go Azzurrini, Go Azzurrini!!!!

Well done for the Azzurrini.  Tomorrow time for the big guys, the Italian National Team to win their match against Georgia too.
