The great moment for the Italian Under 21 team and for the much awaited debut with the Azzurrini from Inter forward Mario Balotelli.  Such a joy for Balotelli and all his fans to see him in the starting eleven, his first called up and already a "titolare."

Guys, I am so happy for the selection of the tridente. Finally, we get to see Giovinco-Osvaldo-Balotelli!!!   Just Hope Osvaldo scores as well as Balotelli.

Motta made it too, perfect! 

Wow, can you believe all the emotions that Balotelli must have been feeling right now?  His first moment officially singing L'inno di Mameli with the Italian Under 21.  Spectacular!

                     

   Friday, September 5, 2008 UEFA European Under-21 Championship match Italy U-21 - Greece U-21 - An unforgettable moment for Inter forward Mario Balotelli making his debut after turning 18th years old on August 12  and the next day becoming an Italian Citizen on August 13.... though for me, he was already an Italian because he was born in Palermo, Italy. Thumbs up Balotelli!!

Wow, guys, what a debut from Inter forward Super Mario Balotelli!  In the 34th minute, Balotelli gets an assist from the right by Fiorentina forward Osvaldo and bam, bam, bam, blasting Greece U-21 goalkeeper Kasmeridis!!!!

What a debut!!!  A dreamed debut by Balotelli!!! Come on, guys, this deserves a Cheer leading dance for Balotelli.!!!

Go Balotelli, Go Balotelli, Go Balotelli!

If Italy keeps this victory, we already qualify for the play offs!!!

Well, guys, the joy lasted until the second half when Greece equalized the score!. 

In the 54th minute, Christodoulopoulos shoots from outside the area and guess what? What!  Well, fans started to whistle not happy with this draw.

Come on guys!!!!  Don't give up and wake up.

Although Italy started the second half attacking, one simple mistake allowed Greece to profit and blasts our Azzurini.

Back to square one... Italy now must win this match. Another goal by Balotelli would be the "paradise for  Balotelli."  Though, a goal by Osvaldo or Giovinco would be nice too. Each one of our Azzurrini deserves to score.
