Unbelievable so, Inter was losing the match by 2 goals!!!! In the 41st minute, Locarno forward Sara surprised Inter's defense blasting to the astonishement of everybody Inter goalkeeper Toldo.

Well, not enough time to think because Inter midfielder Ricardo Quaresma gave some hope in the 72nd minute when sending an assist to defender Ivan Cordoba heading the ball that blasted Locarno goalkeeper Di Benedetto. Great for Cordoba who was returning from injury after seven long months on the sidelines! Gee, I am happy for Cordoba feeling back in shape!

Now, here comes the moment of redemption for forward Julio Cruz after he did the own goal in the 56th minute.
Referee Busacca grants a penalty to Inter for a hand foul committed in the area by Locarno defender Domo.
Taking the penalty spot was precisely Julio Cruz... what a relief he must have felt when converting the penalty!!!

Argentinian forward Hernan Crespo played the entire 90 minutes. Good to see him back in action.. only thing missing was the goal.
Simply put, a good testing frienldy match for players returning from injuries and those not playing often. Plus, the debut of Quaresma was just a "demonstration" of what is to come. Good thing is that he played all 90 minutes, talking about arriving to his new team fit! Well done... Quaresma.
