Official 25 Milan Called Up Players List A for the 2008 - 2009 UEFA Cup by AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti

By Anna Italia

How time flies!   We barely started the 2008 - 2009 Italian Serie A and now it is also time to prepare for the 2008 - 2009 UEFA Cup!

What a challenge for AC Milan after losing their first match at home on Sunday in the Serie A against Bologna. There are no more chances for errors.  It is time to start playing "sul serio" and start winning, period.

Milan will be playing the first match against FC Zurich who finished in the third place of the Swiss Super League last season.   Let's hope all key players won't be injured by September 18 because I am tired of so much "hype without real convincing victories." I just want to see a brilliant Milan against FC Zurich.

Here is AC Milan's Group:

AC Milan (ITA) vs FC Zürich (SUI)
Timişoara (ROU) vs Partizan (SR B )
Hertha Berlin (GER) vs St. Patrick's (IRL)
Banik Ostrava (CZE) vs Spartak Moscow (RUS)
Metalist (UKR) vs Beşiktas (TUR)

Here is the time where Ronaldinho, Sheva, Maldini, Pirlo, Pato, Inzaghi all need to really shine.

Here is the official list of 25 AC Milan players for the 2008 - 2009 UEFA Cup submitted by Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti:

GOALKEEPERS: Dida, Christian Abbiati, Zeljko Kalac;

DEFENDERS:
Paolo Maldini, Kakha  Kaladze, Ginaluca Zambrotta, Marek Jankulovski, Giuseppe Favalli, Senderos, Daniele Bonera, Darmian, Pasini, Antonini;

MIDFIELDERS: Emerson, Gennaro  Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini, Mathieu Flamini;

ATTACKERS: Pato, Filippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedorf, Marco Borriello, Kakà, Andriy Shevchenko, Ronaldinho.

Wonder who will be the goalkeeper, will Abbiati continue to be the first goalkeeper?  How about the starting eleven?
