Hello guys, well, yesterday it was the Champions League draw, today it was the UEFA Cup 2008 - 2009 Draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco for the first round.  I can't wait to see how all our Italian Clubs AC Milan, Sampdoria, Napoli and Udinese will do.  

Matches will be home and away and the first round to be played in the week of September 18 and  October 2nd. 

Winners will pass to the next round "group stage or second round." The draw for the group stage will be on October 10.

Napoli qualified yesterday to  the UEFA Cup with their historical victory  Napoli 5 - 0 Vllaznia returning to EUROPEAN competitions after 14 years!!!

The situation for the Italian clubs not that bad, although the tough match will be Napoli-Benfica.

AC Milan - FC Zurich  - 
Zurich finished in the third place of the Swiss Super League last season.

Sampdoria - Kaunas  - Here a challenge because Kaunas  eliminated last year's finalist Rangers.

Napoli - Benfica          - Benfica on paper the strongest  and will feature ex Inter striker David Suazo.

Dortmund - Udinese   - Wake up call for strikers Antonio Di Natale and Fabio Quagliarella.
