Italian Soccer Serie A Welcomes Andriy Schevchenko Back in AC Milan
What a dramatic film "Sheva, The Return of the Prodigal Son to AC Milan." I love it!
A much suffered transfer market... but with a happy ending.
Andriy Shevchenko arrived yesterday night in Milan at the Linate airport and to his surprise he found a group of Milan fans welcoming him as it nothing happened. Oh gosh, come on, I would have done the same if I had been in Milano, you bet I would have wear my Milan Jersey with a big banner saying "Welcome back Sheva." And why not, even doing the cheer leading dance "Go Sheva, Go Sheva, Go Sheva!
Just like Milan VP Adriano Galliani said, "This is a family and we are happy. Is not true that only Silvio Berlusconi insisted on bringing him back, I also did my part and I am happy that we finally made it and brought him home." Galliani count me in too because I did my part and told him in person that his home was in Milan! Also add the millions of fans reminding Sheva that he should have never left family and to come back home.
Imagine how sensitive is Sheva that he knows he made the worst mistake in his career when he abandoned the family, "la famiglia," to live new experiences and enchanted by wealth and more fame maybe?
Just like the prodigal son.. wow.. unbelievable, Sheva from being the top went down to become the flop of the EPL and a big failure in Chelsea whether we like it or not, that's the plain truth.
Ok, enough is enough..
now let's look for the future and wish Sheva
a strong comeback.
Hey, come on, at least he is fit, true... almost 32 years old compared to his early 20s when he arrived the first time in Milan on June 15, 1999 when he was a young footballer full of dreams..
Sheva turned those dreams in reality. In seven seasons the story of Milan is super connected to Sheva and his 173 goals.
Those goals and many memories in this big suitcase.
Immediately, no vacation for Sheva, but he has to take medical tests and start his first training today alone because the squad has the day off today. Oh boy! I wish to be there and train next to Sheva to make him again THE ROCKY BALBOA of Milanello...
I love how the leader of one of the AC Milan Fan clubs received Sheva, "how can we not welcome a player that gave us 173 goals and many happy moments? True he kissed once the Jersey of Chelsea, but he apologized. I am convinced that Sheva will make Milanello to fall in love again."
Hey, buddy, I join you, count me in that group because I believe Sheva has that internal force that will push him to reach again his maximum level with Milan. He would do anything AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti asks him to do because he wants to prove that he is not history but a reality.
