Covering the 2008 Summer Olympics Game in Beijing from an Italian Perspective
Oh come on, I cannot stat writing this post without doing first the "cheer leading dance" for our Italian National Olympic Team after their perfect debut yesterday against Honduras 0 - 3 Italy .
Our Azzurrini gave show, it was show time! Especially the GIOVINCO SUPER SHOW!!!
So, here I come and please join me too.
GO AZZURRINI, GO AZZURRINI, GO AZZURRINI!!!
Also, Giovinco's goal was the first goal of the Olympics in the 41st minute!
I am including the front page from Italy's Leading Sports Newspaper "LA GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT" so you can see the big front cover about the success of our football team with "SUPER GIOVINCO" on the cover.
By the way, Giovinco's particular goal celebration reminded me of Great Alessandro Del Piero too with the "linguaccia." No wonder they play in the same club "La Juventus." Don't you think?
Del Piero must be happy with his teammate as he wished success to all our lads prior the Olympics.
