Good morning, super good morning, and a happy smile for this wonderful morning!

I am still in heaven with the great debut from our Italian National Olympic Team Honduras 0 - 3 Italy.

I am ready for our "Coffee Morning Readings"  with my cappuccino and later some hot buttermilk pancakes.

Are you ready with your coffee, cappuccino, espresso, tea, juice, water? Let's share a good moment reading  Italy's sports newspaper Il Corriere dello SportHere is the front page from this morning  Friday, August 8, 2008.

ITALIAN NATIONAL OLYMPIC TEAM

Headline says, " Giovinco enchants China"  Goal and show from the baby of Juventus.

Italy beat Honduras: 3 - 0.
Today the Opening ceremony.

Anna Italia Opinion - I agree 100% with the description from Il Corriere dello Sport about the great victory of the Italian National Olympic team.
Honduras 0 - 3 Italy.

Wow, guys, you should have seen this match. I was glued to the TV and amazed at the great show by Giovinco.

Sure, Chinese fans are adoring Giovinco for his great football technique.  It was a delight watching him play.

Good thing was also the group unity and coordination with the incorporation of Cagliari striker Robert Acquafresca who was not supposed to play. Since Tommaso Rocchi had some problems during the training, Casiraghi chose Acquafresca to be in his place.

Let me tell you, "A wise decision." because Acquafresca did not disappoint him and he even scored the third goal in the 52nd minute!!!

Next match of the Azzurrini is tomorrow Sunday, August 10 against Korea at 4:45 a.m. USA Pacific time.

Anna Italia Opinion -  Guys what a terrible crisis in Milan.  The Emergency Room is getting crowded with too many injured players.  Now, Milan who before were worried about getting a top goalkeeper, today the biggest need is to get defender!

Not only defender Alessandro Nesta is out for injury and seem it will take a long time to recover around September---if not having a surgery --- but also Kakha Kaladze is out injured!  Mamma mia!  Thanks God at least Paolo Maldini right now is fit but if gets injured too?  Help!!!!  Problem for Milan is tht they have the match against Manchester City this Saturday and Kaladze cannot play.

So, Milan right now is after Chelsea defenders!!! The choice is between Alex and Ivanovic.  Problem is that Juventus is also interested in Ivanovic!!!!  Wow, what a situation for the Rossoneri.  Ancelotti, as the article mentioned, prefer Brazilian Alex than Ivanovic.  Milan's proposal might be based "on loan" for 2 millions euro with the option of Chelsea to gain back the contract.

Now, what baout if neither Alex nor Ivanovic agree to Milan's proposal, actually, if Chelsea owner Avramovich says no?  Well, then it is PLAN B.  Milan can contiue their transaction with Alex Silva.  What a case!

FC INTER - International Friendly Match

Headline says, "Ibrahimovic is back and will play today"

Anna Italia Opinion - Well, this is really good news for Inter coach Jose Mourinho because Ibrahimovic, at least for me, is the most reliable striker in Inter right now.

Inter will play today the LG Amsterdam Tournamanent against Sevilla and Mourinho included Ibrahimovic in the called up player. Though, not sure whether he will play 90 minutes or just half time.  In any case, welcome back Ibrahimovic.  Forza Inter.

AS ROMA Transfer Market

Ok guys, here is a turning point for Roma.  Before their main concern was to sign Real Madrid striker Julio Baptista, now it is MALOUDA from Chelsea.  illy coffee - 2 cans, 2 mugs for just $26.Supposedly, Roma is trying to settle an appointment with Chelsea General Director Peter Canyon to talk about the MALOUDA deal.   Things are not easy for Roma because Chelsea Coach Scolari is noticing how well Malouda is playing and he might not let him go after all.

The situation with Baptista is still pending and might finally reach a happy ending in the next week as Baptista's manager Juan Figer is coming to Roma for further meetings.  The offer from Roma right now is for 10 million euros.  Oh well.. let's see how it goes...

LAZIO Transfer Market

Now, after all the DIVORCE between Ledesma and Lazio.  Lotito announces that Ledesma is staying in Lazio??? Hum.. hello??????

 PALERMO and Napoli

The article says tht Palermo and Napoli are convincing... Well,  I think Napoli is doing a great job and might do even better if passing the preliminary of the UEFA Cup.  But I don't think they are winning convingly... Here are the results from both teams yesterday.

PALERMO-Larissa 1-0

NAPOLI-Frosinone 2-1

Whaich news surprised you and why or which news were you expecting in the front page?
