Covering the 2008 Summer Olympics Game in Beijing  from an Italian Perspective

The Olympics are here!

I am already cheering not only for our AZZURRINI but also for each player of the Italian Serie A playing with their respective countries.  Here are the words of AC Milan striker Ronaldinho on the eve of Brazil's debut against Belgium tomorrow at 2 a.m. USA Pacific time.

"It's a great honour to represent Brazil at the Olympics, and now I'm here to become champion: the gold is worth as much as a world title. Now I'm happy and want to give my best because we all care a lot about this title.' And for the question on who can worry Brazil, Dinho replied: "I don't have doubts that Argentina deserves all of my respect, but even we are strong."

So, guys, it is "cheer leading dance" for Ronaldinho right now....
GO DINHO, GO DINHO, GO DINHO!!!

Forza Brazil, Forza Milan.
