Covering the 2008 Summer Olympics Game in Beijing  from an Italian Perspective

Good news for the AZZURRINI because striker Giuseppe Rossi is recovering and feeling better today.  I was already worried for Rossi because he had to stop training yesterday with the group and did individual training for a light lombalgia.

Thanks God today after training Rossi said he was feeling better and will play tomorrow in Italy's debut against Honduras at 2 a.m. USA Pacific time.  I will be following the match posting the match report.

Rossi also said that he is aware that Brazil and Argentina are the favorites. Yet, he considers ITALY a solid group too. "We all have te same mentality, same objective to make it to the end," said Rossi.

I am happy for our Italian National Olympic team because they seem united and working as a team not by isingle players.  This is good, a positive attitude and they now need to play concentrated.

Time for our "cheer leading dance" for the Azzurrini.

Go Azzurrini, Go Azzurrini, Go Azzurrini!!!!!!

Training today was at the Stadium of the University of Qinguangdao for about 90 minutes.

Referee for the match is Slovenian Damir Skomina and assistants Primoz  Ahar and  Marko Stancin from Slovenia too.  The fourth man is Iranian  Moradi Masoud.

Come on Azzurrini FORZA!!!!!
