Good morning, buon giorno!

Here I am on time for our "Coffee Morning Readings."

How are you?  I am so happy because today is the "TIM Trophy Tournament" and will see the battle between AC Milan, FC Juventus, and FC Inter.  Who are you cheering for? I am cheering for Milan first place, Juventus second place, and Inter third place.

Let me enjoy my cappuccino and a mini chocolate bar. How about you?  Are you ready with your coffee, tea, juice, water?

So, come on, let's start with Italy's sports newspaper Il Corriere dello SportHere is the front page from this morning Tuesday, July 29, 2008.

AC Milan, AS Roma, Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Juventus, Palermo, Sampdoria, Udinese

AS ROMA

The headline says: Totti, De Rossi, and Aquilani "Congratulations Sensi."

AS Roma celebrates the 82nd Birthday of President Franco Sensi.

NAPOLI

The headline says: "Napoli enjoys their Europe worth millions."

Anna Italia Opinion - I am very happy for Napoli because they are breaking every record after waiting 14 years to touch the Euopean Sky!

The success of Napoli includes also millions of euros. In Saturday's match against Panionios at the San Paolo stadkum 54,137 tickets sold making a total of 954,693 euro.  Imagine the surprise from UEFA that even President Micel Platini!  A record for an Intertoto match.

You be the one enjoying the success is Napoli President De Laurentis! Now, not only his movies are making money but even his football team!  So, let's do the "cheerleading dance" for Napoli.

Go Napoli, Go Napoli, Go Napoli!!!

For the third round of UEFA, Napoli expects to make another 3 millions, and another million from TV Rights. Forza Napoli.  So, De Laurentis will have enough money to sign more top players.

TIM TROPHY Tournament

The headline says: "Lets discover Mourinho"

- The new Inter challenges Milan and Juventus (Media channel 5 at 8:30 p.m.)

- Mourinho challenges Ancelotti to "come to study us at Appiano."

- Inter: here is MUNTARI immediately on the pitch (playing today).

- Milan: Kaka, he must play 90 minutes

- Juventus: Del Piero will play with Amauri

Anna Italia Opinion - Imagine, I could not sleep thinking on this TIM Trophy tournament and how in the world will Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti is going to face Juventus and Inter without a strong team missing 4 strikers Inzaghi and Borriello injured while Pato and Ronaldinho are with the Brazilian National Olympic team!  The responsibility relies now in Seedorf and young Alberto Paloschi.  kaka will also play supposedly 90 minutes, but I won't push the guy when he is barely finishing his recovery from his knee surgery.

About Mourinho challenging Ancelotti to go to "study him at Appiano," was on reference to Ancelotti's declarations during his press conference on July 22, 2008 saying "The only thing is that those who coach cannot learn new things, if not by sending people to watch other coaches' methods.

That's why Mourinho said that  "he is being spied" on the front page of Il Corriere dello Sport from July 24, 2008. LOL  He even closed the training session the day before when Inter fans whistled him for the first time.
Mourinho said that observers from other clubs were among fans to see his training methods.

Muntari who was presented yesterday, will play today in the TIM Trophy Tournament.  KAKA has no other choice than playing the most he can resist because Milan doesn't have more STRIKERS AVAILABLE!!!!  Though, I am against kaka playing for 90 minutes because I don't want him to risk further damage to his knee.  Uffa... here is the big problem.  Juventus Coach Ranieri choosing the duo "Del Piero-Amauri" because Del Piero is among "my untouchables" but I don't want him to score against my MILAN.  What a tough match.

BRAZIL Olympic National Team

The article is about AC Milan Striker Ronaldinho creating "magic and goals" with Brazil.  This refers to the friendly match yesterday. Singapore 0 - 3 Brazil.  Ronaldinho was Captain and scored the second goal.

True Ronaldinho was not at his best shape, but he enchanged sinagpore with his magic touches and Pato making assist  for the second goal. Good for the 2 Milan players.

LAZIO Transfer Market

The headline says:  Pandev has decided: I stay in Lazio, no to Article 17."

Anna Italia Opinion - This is a news I like because Striker Goran Pandev has become a symbol for Lazio.  Losing Pandev would have been a disaster for lazio who have been struggling to keep a steady positionn in the Sereie A.
So, Pandev promised Lazio fans that he wanted to stay and become big together.

PALERMO

The headline says, "Bresciano, I want a golden season with Palermo."

Anna Italia Opinion - Without a doubt Mark Bresciano will be one of the key players for Palermo.  He already proved this in the last two friendly matches by even scoring against Eintracht!  Just hope the best for Bresciano.

LECCE

The headline says, "Berettha, I chose Lecce because we will start an era."

Anna Italia Opinion - Coach Mario Beretta will start an era with Lecce. He is already doing it by preparing the team well.  Lecce was promoted from Serie B and Beretta was hired to coach it in the Serie A.  Big challenge for Beretta will be when Lecce faces Inter in Week 4 at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium. There he will have a chance to kick off his "new era with Lecce."  A draw or victory against Inter will be a total triumph for Beretta.  Question is whether Beretta and Lecce could beat Italy's champions with all their big names and the "Special One."  What do you think?

Italian National Olympic Team

The Azzurrini are making news in China and being surrounded by Fans looking for autographs.  Just hope Coach Casiraghi improved his technique with the team.  The Azzurrini  must still show a top football to aspire to win the Gold Medal. Otherwise, we won't make it. Among the favorites to win the 2008 Summer Olympics games in football are Brazil, Argentina and the curiousity of Chinese fans to see the Azzurrini.  Forza Azzurini.

Which news surprised you and why or which news were you expecting in the front page and why?
