"I'd like to score a goal per match and become the top scorer of the Olympics with 6 goals." - said Brazil and AC Milan Striker Alexandre Pato
ItaliaI like seeing Brazil and AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato so optimistic. Without a doubt Pato has been one of the best "player investments" towards the future of the rossoneri. Not only Pato is young and has not given any public scandal, but also he is talented and always willing to improve his technique.
Here are some declarations made by PATO from Singapore.
"I'd like to score a goal per match and become the top scorer of
the Olympics with 6 goals." - said Alexandre Pato, with the Brazilian
national team at the moment. "I'm happy that Ancelotti trusts me - added Pato talking about his objectives with the Rossoneri - but I haven't fixed a certain amount of goals to score next season."
I wish PATO to score more than 6 goals ... though not against Italy.

Man, we all want to see Pato doing well. He is a good kid. At least not giving any scandals or making tantrums like your Cassano. Ooops!

Pierto, you pushed the wrong button, my Cassano was a good kid too, remember when he was playing for Bari and was only 17, what an adorable kid he was. My baby is all grown up now. Give him a break, life has been tough on him, all that money and fame at such a young age wasn't exactly easy you know. Don't make me cry, I can't believe he is 26 already. Anyhow I wish Pato all the best as long as he is not playing against Italy.

My immediate reaction: Oh my gosh, how could you say that? In public, not even messi or other young prodigies. Brazil hasn't won the Olympics yet.
Then, that's great but it can be confused as overconfidence.
He's putting too much pressure on himself, take it match by match. I still doesn't understand why ANcelotti trusts him so much in big matches and let Boriello and Gila go. How about signing other young Italian forwards like Rossi. I don't think Pato was necesary for AC Milan. All in my humble opinion.
I think Argentina will win the Football Olympics.
Are you guys watching the tennis in the Olympics too? I am. Which country?

Monica I respect your opinion! I will be supporting Argentina also in tennis but if u ask me who I think will win I think it'll be Spain for Nadal and I don't Mind! Girl I'm a crazy soccer and tennis fan!!!!

I meant Boriello go last season.
Not necessary for AC Milan to get Pato- I mean it was a gamble, not much European/ UEFA championship experience. Yes fortunately he fulfilled expectations but couldn't AC Milan get it (goals, spark..) from another Italian forward or Serie A player?
All in all, good luck to Pato this season at AC Milan. Let's see if Ancelotti makes him an 'untouchable' in the starting lineup again or if Boriello takes his place.
Have a great day!

Monica I see your point. I also think Italian clubs should give more opportunities to Italian forwards, especially from their youth programs like the case of Alberto Paloschi. Sometimes it works, others don't.
In the case of Paloschi it worked. Problem is that there is "certain mentality" that the best forwards comes from Brazil or Argentina. I rather see Italian clubs giving more priority to our youth and then --if not finding good candidates --- then, go ahead and search around.
Pato was a good investment. Milan observers took time to follow Pato's carrier before suggesting to get his transfer. Pato, like KAKA, have been discoveries by AC Milan before they were famous. Kaka became "KAKA" in Milan and same is happening to PATO.
Borriello? Yes, he should he get more playing time. I hope Ancelotti uses turnovers and not exploit poor Pato or Dinho.
