Maicon,
during these two seasons you earned yourself a fundamental place in the starting
line-up. What kind of season do you expect this year?
A
difficult and challenging one as always. We are working hard to do well also
this year.
What is your impression of Mourinho so far
?
Good. We are working on new kind of exercises. We are trying
to do as much as possible to win from the first game.
Thinking of
the next derby: from one side there will be a brazilian attack: Ronaldinho,
Pato, Kakà; and from the other side a brazilian defense: Julio Cesar, Maicon and
Maxwell...
We have to wait. They have world class players. But
we have to think of ourselves.
What do you think of your
opponents: Juventus, Milan and Roma? Are they still a step behind you
?
At the moment, we are still the champions and we are working hard
to win again this season even if it will not be easy.

I'm sure Mark would love Maicon's statements! He's right they are still the champs but as he said it'll be challenging! I like his answer when asked about KA-PA-RO!!! after all the players are different from their president!
