The 2008 - 2009 Serie A Schedule - Fixtures - Will be Announced on July 25, 2008 as informed by the Lega Calcio

The Lega Calcio announced that the Calendar of the 2008 - 2009 Season of the Italian Serie A will be announced on Friday, July 25, 2008 in the afternoon.  As soon as they announce it, I will post it here in the blog Italian Soccer Serie A.

The Lega also  has announced that there will be no derbies or top-drawer matches in the three midweek rounds of the 2008/2009 season and that seedings will be abolished.

Another criterium adopted for the compilation is that teams who play in the same stadium will start in reversed order compared to last season. Particular attention has also been paid to concurrent events in the city like parties or concerts.
