Who won and who lost with the transfer market of Barcelona striker Ronaldinho to AC Milan?

By Anna Italia

Ormai e' fatta!  It's already done!

I was watching the news coverage from Spain news TELEDIARIO in TVE and how they covered the super welcome of Ronaldinho by over 3,000 fans in Malpensa Airport and then in the Centro Sportivo Milanello.

   Barcelona, Tuesday, July 15, 2008
- The Souveniir photo MIlan VP Adriano Galliani, Ronaldinho, and Barcelona Joan La Porta showing a happy face after the satisfactory negotiation between Milan and Barcelona.  Now, it was official: Ronaldinho finally is an AC MILAN player after two years of courtship from Milan.

Without a doubt, the transfer market of Ronaldinho Gaucho is "il colpo" the best shot so far in this 2008 - 2009 Season.  Interesting how TELEDIARIO also highlighted the career and merits obtained by Ronaldinho since his arrival in Barcelona. You could sense a certain sadness from reporters.

Then, I watched the Italian Channel RAI ITALIA and the news TG and RAI Sports and the whole thing was "A BIG SAMBA PARTY."

Unbelievable how Ronaldinho has revolted the entire media.  I went following up the entire RONALDINHOMANIA through Diario Fox Sports, Sky Sports, RAI Italia, Contacto Deportivo, Telediario, RTP, Fox Soccer Channel.

A total success for Ronaldinho in   Milanello as well as gaining more fans when in just one hour AC Milan website reported to have 3,000 (three thousands new members).  Can you believe it??!! I don't think any of the transfer market from this season have achieved this record.... yet.

Who won and who lost with this transfer?

I think Milan won big time because they got a Super Fuoriclasse at a discount price!  More than that, Milan got a player who really wanted to play for AC MILAN who stood up against his former club to impose his right to choose the team he wanted to play.  Plus, the revenues starting coming immediately while Barcelona see the $$$$ from far away.. Now, let's see if Ronaldinho talks with goals in the Italian Serie A... I am taking his own words as a guarantee "Milan I bring you goals and joy.

I think that Inter not being able to add any new players to the squad that barely won the scudetto with few point difference ahead of Roma and by luck if you ask me, is the biggest loser in the transfer market.ops I forget Mancini, but i don't think he'll do much for Inter.
Napoli and Lazio seem to me the biggest winners in this transfer market, football wise that is.
Milan is a big time winner with the increase in subscriptions, ticket, and jersey sales. On the football side, we did better than a lot of other clubs but we are not the best either. We could have used a decent keeper, and at least one world class left back or centre back. Credit to Galliani though, we did much better than last year.
Roma is also another loser in the transfer market, for the fact that they haven’t signed a quality forward yet and the only player that might come to them being Baptista!

The answer is obvious. Milan is the big winner with the transfer of Ronaldinho. Man, La Porta must be having double thoughts when seeing all the domino effect created by Ronaldinho like Nina said in memberships, media attraction, selling jerseys, etc.

Anna the most important thing on why Milan is the winner is because Ronaldinho lowe his price almost in half, a real bargain. Just thinking that Adebayor wanted 40 million and went down to 30 or 25.

Milan is the leader right now and man i hope Ronnie won't let us down.

Good, hurrah i can sing because i am on break so come on

PO PO PO PO PO PO PO PO

Nina as for the traitor Mancini to Inter i won't even bother to talk.

Sure Milan are the winners but lets hope we keep being the winners and Ronnie fulfill his promises of goals and joy!!! I'm glad to have a player like Ronaldinho at Milan but Milan is a team that have many Champs and let me hope Ronnie understand that well and doesn't think of himself as the ONLY KING!

PO PO PO PO PO PO

    WELCOME RONALDINHO!!!
