Here is the called up list of players by Catania Coach Walter Zenga for Catania Pre-Season Training from July 14 to July 27, 2008 in Assissi. 

Let's hope Catania do a better job this season.  Last season they were saved in the last match after a miraculous draw against Roma with a goal in the 85th minute by Jorge Andres Martinez. Catania 1 - 1 AS Roma

  Catania finished the 2007 - 2008 Season  in the 17th position with 37 points.

Great expectation from the two Argentinians midfielders Pablo Martin Ledesma and Ezequiel Carboni.  Although Catania lost  Juan Manuel "El Loco" Vargas transferring to Fiorentina, Catania still have Giuseppe Mascara who for me was one of the best.
