AC Milan Striker PATO the only Serie A Player in the Brazilian National Olympic Team Called by Dunga
ItaliaCovering the 2008 Summer Olympics Game in Beijing from an Italian Perspective
I was surprised to see only 1 player from the Italian Serie A among the called up players by Brazil Head Coach Dunga for the 2008 Summer Olympics Games in Beijing. Pato from AC Milan is the only one in the list representing the Serie A.

Supposedly, KAKA was going to be among the called up but Kaka is recovering from his ankle surgery and Milan denied the permission.
Well, maybe, if negotiations finally go positive for Ronaldinho - Milan, we might have 2 Serie A players with Brazil. Right now, guys, we must support our PATO. May he score many goals.
Here is the complete list of Brazil National Olympics Team:
GOALKEEPERS: Diego (Almeria), Renan (Internacional P.Alegre);
DEFENDERS: Marcelo (Real Madrid), Ilsinho (Shakhtar Donetsk), Rafinha (Schalke 04), Thiago Silva (Fluminense), Alex Silva (S.Paolo), Breno (Bayern Monaco);
MIDFIELDERS: Lucas (Liverpool), Anderson (Manchester United), Hernanes (S.Paolo), Ronaldinho (Barcellona), Diego (Werder Brema), Thiago Neves (Fluminense);
ATTACKERS: Robinho (Real Madrid), Pato (Milan), Sobis (Betis), Jo (Manchester City).

Look at our little ducky making a heart sign,what a wonderful sight. The kid is adorable.
I wish Pato all the best with his national team, and let's just hope he doesn't get injured.Even though he needs to work on his finishing touch,he showed great skills in the few months that he played for Milan.
He can scores all the goals in the world,as long as it is not against the Azzurrini.
