I love the picture of the Azzurrini training.Notice the writing below with the #4 and the two stars on each side"campioni del mondo" I love the sound and the sight of that.
Now let's get to the not so pleasant side of events. Why wasn't Fabiano Santacroce included in either of the two lists for the squad?Defense has been a problem area for u-21 and Santacroce had a superb season for Napoli. For God's sake the guy is one of the best future defenders we have! Also selecting only one over age player is kinda of crazy when other teams like Brazil and Argentina have some of their heavy weights. I have a not good feeling about this already.Avoiding using "bad feeling" just like the president loool.

I am asking the same question about why Santacroce is not included. LOL you made me laugh with the scaramanzia like Napolitano HA HA HA HA....

At least Giovinco and Rossi are among the called up. How about Osvaldo? hello.... he is in the second group. I hope he makes it to the final list.

Thank goodness there's a month break between the Euro 2008 and the Beijing Olympics. I have no doubt that Italy will end up in the podium, top 3.
