Hey, guys, it is time to start making our predictions on "Who do YOU think will win the Scudetto? So, let's start by predicting our 5 favorite teams to win the Scudetto. Of course, you can modify your predictions during the Season.
Here are my top 5 to win the Scudetto:
1. AC Milan .... It is my team and they will focus on the Serie A being out of the Champions League
2. FC Juventus - Want to see Juve in the big scenario again. Do I hear Saint goalkeeper Buffon and Del Piero?
3. AS Roma - They were so close to win and have --so far -- the best football.
4. FC Inter - Inter's main objective this year is to win the Champions League, this might cause them to focus
their energies more in the Champions. I don't think they can win the Scudetto this year.
5. Fiorentina - Prandelli can lead the team. If Mutu continues to be fit they might win, if not my next is Napoli.

My top 4 teams are thee usual suspects;Milan,Juve,Inter,and Roma.Of course I hope it is Milan that wins its 18th title.It would be the perfect sending off of our beloved Captain Paolo Maldini.

Anna, the trick is to have Inter as contenders all along,and then to snatch the scudetto in the last 2 or 3 games of the season,but of course I want Milan to be number 1,Roma #2,Juve#3,and maybe have Inter and fiorentina fight for the 5th position.I would want Sampdoria and My Cassano and to get the 4th position,but realistically speaking we know that it will be the usual 4 in any order.
You are right, Mark will have a blast reading my comments.By the way,where is Jina lately?

My top 5 are as follows. 1. AC Milan 2. AC Milan 3. AC Milan 4. AC Milan 5. AC Milan. Yeah yeah that's ridiculous I know. But what can I say. I have 5 of their shirts. 5! To me the whole sport starts and ends with Milan. Everyone else is just everyone else. I live in Hollywood Fl. Unfortunately, I don't get any tv channels that carry the Serie A. We NEED Milan to win the Scudetto so that I can see them in the Champion's league on ESPN. Other than that, the only way I can follow them is online and seeing the highlights on youtube.

Rafael,Goal tv has one hour of coverage of Ac Milan channel on Thursdays,and Fox soccer channel broadcasts most of Milan's games on the weekends.I hear you,that is how I feel about Milan too.
How far are you from Miami? Il Capitano is in town,thought you could stalk him for us lol.

Definitely, WE NEED MILAN to win the Scudetto, the question is whether IF OUR MILAN understand this.

I'm must curious to see what season AC Milan will have this time. It can't be as disappointing as the 2007-2008. It would be a miracle for Milan to reach 3rd place unless they start renewing the club. I think a new coach is in order too.
I can't wait to hear Colovati's comments again on La Domenica Sportiva. He always finds something wrong with AC Milan games it's hilarious.
La Roma just needs to focus on getting to the finish line. They see themselves as worthy of the scudetto and start slacking in games. Also, I don't think they'll go far keeping Esposito and Vucinic as strikers. Spalletti has given all he can. Bring in a new coach with more experience.
I think Inter and Juve are the 2 favorites.

Monica, I am knocking on woods, for Milan to finally show the Champions football technique and great football in the Serie A. I am expecting the Scudetto and the UEFA Cup.... no excuse for Milan.
Roma? Awesome, I want Roma and Juventus to qualify until the final of the Champions League. They have to.
What????!!!!!! You want to get rid of Spalletti??? Bring who? Hello, I think Spalletti is doing a super job with Roma and they almost won the Scudetto had not been for those 3 "helpful referee decisions" favoring Inter.
In the Champions League, oh well, Roma like Milan had the bad luck of having injured players during those crucial matches and I am still waiting for ROMA to AVENGE THEIR HONOR AGAINST MAN U.

The problem with serie A(or should I say the blessing since it makes the league more competitive) is that there are no small teams.We have all seen Milan lose to Atalanta,Roma to Seinna,Napoli against Juve,Milan,and Inter. The winner will be whoever drops the least points when playing bottom half or mid table teams.

Your right Nina, I agree 100%. u know in the EPL its always, Man U, then Chelsea, then Arsenal, then Liverpool its getting boring! Though I still love watching EPL but mostly Serie A and La Liga!

Lazio has not been consistent and too much contestation between fans to President Lotito which creates a not easy environment for players and coach who are also contested... Hopefully, this season you guys will do better.

Ridha we are all family here with our differences and i like how we all accept each other too. Man, i agree with you that this blog is a second home for many of us and the family is growing too. My heart beat for our Italian national team and for my Milan, Roma, Juventus but not Inter that's for sure. Though, i keep peace treaties with Mark and Jidah whenever is convenient for Milan.

I agree we are all a big family and enjoy sharing our soccer passion freely. Even if I am in the minority here with Jina as Inter fans, I like the family because we respect and not insult with violent or harsh words unlike other blogs.

Thanks Mark. Of course Inter will be among the favourites as Milan and Juventus. I have always had respect and admiration for inter. Being maybe one of the eldest here, I cannot forget Mazzola, Fachetti, Corso and Boninsegna, all great Italian players produced by Inter. So for me Forza Roma but beware of Inter, Milan and Juve.

Mark, sure for Roma first. Then Inter, because of what I said about its players from the sixties/seventies, then Juve for its capacity to enhance the value of great Italian players (Baggio, Del Piero, Zambrotta, Paolo Rossi, Causio, Cabrini, Vieri) in a calcio full of foreign fuoriclassi and Milan for Rivera and Maldini.

I am not an Inter fan by any means, actually I somewhat dislike them since I call them BrazilInterTina, not enough Italian players...anyway, I think they are favorites again, with Juventus and Roma closely behind, but Milan should get in the top 4, especially if they get Ronaldinho. 1) Inter, 2) Juventus 3) Roma 4) AC Milan 5) Sampdoria 6) Fiorentina 7) Napoli 8) Udinese. Relegated teams are: Catania, Cagliari, Reggina.

Oh INTER fans are realy minor here but it is ok.. INTER will win it again because we have the best quality players that is all.. Milan needs more players to be competitive. plz you dont have a quality striker to be honest. i see the threat from juve this season. but the boys will do the double this year. salute mark we are alone here
