Serie A Transfer Market: Although Juventus Striker David Trezeguet Says He Stays with Juventus, Spain Newspaper "AS" Reports a Move to Barcelona

By Anna Italia

Among the news of the Serie A Transfer Market, the situation of Juventus French forward David Trezeguet is the one causing more concern for Juventus fans.

After all the sacrifices Trezeguet made for Juventus when they were relegated to the Serie B for the scandal of Calciopoli, it will be a big disappointment if Trezeguet leaves Juventus now.

The whole situation changes from one day to another.

Yesterday, Trezeguet's agent Antonio Caliendo told Teleradiostereo: "It would be hard for him to go away, even if Barça continue to insist. I believe that in Turin an offer of at least 30 million euros would be taken into consideration. I do not know what Barcelona would offer, because I signed a 4-year agreement to assist David, and I know that he wants to remain at Juventus."

Point is that today Spain newspaper "AS" reports the opposite.

Reportedly, Diego Milito will substitute Trezeguet.  "AS" says that a representative of Juventus contacted Milito's agent Fernando Hidalgo to discuss the situation.  How conveniently that Hidalgo will be in Italy this week too for other negotiations.  Wonder whether "Trezeguet" will be involved too.

Honestly, I rather have Trezeguet in Juventus working side by side with Alessandro Del Piero.  This duo has proven to be dynamic not only scoring  but also making assists!  Just imagine, Del Piero was the top scorer of the Serie A with 21 goals while Trezeguet was the second scorer with 20 goals.   Besides, Trezeguet is a Juve flag. It will be hard to see him playing in another teams. The best thing that could happen to the duo Trezeguet - Del Piero is to win the Champions League with Juventus!

Should Trezeguet remain in Juventus or transfer to Barcelona and why?

Your talking to a Barca fan here, I honestly think David should stay with Juve, Barca are in no need for him, in my opinion. Henry and Eto'o are better strikers for me, but if Eto'o is leaving then maybe! sadly Milan can't afford Eto'o no more

I don't think Henry and Eto'o are better than Trezeguet, i wish we have him and Zlatan playing together as they did with Juve.
