Why do we blame Donadoni so much for this defeat? Isn't there room for growing pains with a new coach who was missing some of his best players (including the worlds best defender)?

I can't believe you are defending Donadoni. The numbers are clear and it was obvious even before the tournament that he did not have enough experience to be the national coach. How do yo explain leaving Camoranesi and Del Piero on the bench in the last match, not only that keeping Luca Toni in all 3 matches and never substituting him when he keeps missing goal opportunities and not a single media or commentary said that he played well. Man, i am just surprised for asking why do we blame Donadoni, then you have to ask the question to almost every news. What's your take?

Your right I totally agree with you, Pietro!!! add Toni look we got to help them recover from the lost so they can do something in the future, 2010. It hurts but our Azzurri deserve our support!

Yeah, it was the fault of Donadoni who couldn't use all the physical and psychological power and strength of players! Del Piero would be in the starting line-up against Spain instead of Toni, in my opinion, because he has more experience, as well as skills and technique. I really have no idea why Del Peiro had no chance to kick penalty in the first three! At least, instead of Di Natale!
