Unbelievable! There is no other word that I can use to describe the grueling match between Netherlands and Russia.
Goals: 56' Pavlyunchenko (R), '86 Van Nistelrooy (N), '22 extra time Torbinski (R), 26' extra time Arshavin (R)
I was cheering for Netherlands, especially because the coach Marco Van Basten, is part of the Italian family as he played for AC Milan and for giving the helping hand by beating Romania which helped us to qualify for the quarterfinals. Uffa... having said that, today, I saw a different Netherlands and to my surprise a GREAT RUSSIA.

they had to go to extra time!!! 90 minutes plus 2 sets of 15 minutes
each. Just unbelievable. Netherlands who played so far the best
football of the tournament is out!

I second that motion too milan99! Can you believe it all second places passing to the semifinals!!!! Wow... the good thing is that Italy did not lose spirit when they had that terrible debut against Netherlands losing by 3 goals, OUCH! Still hurts!
Instead our Azzurri have been growing stronger in every match. UFFFAAAA let's hope tomorrow they will be giants!!!
We are in the same thought again.. I also wanted the revenge against Netherlands....
Gee.. but I feel sad for Van Basten losing against Russia.
