                              Spain - Italy

First it was Capatain Cannavaro and Gattuso not happy with Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Zapatero's statement about Spain being stronger than Italy, now it is Italy and Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi to have his say.

Zapatero  also added his prediction on the EURO 2008 Quarterfinals Spain 3 - 2 Italy. Oh mamma mia, I hope it won't come true but la ma Italia to win!  Forza Azzurri.

Here is the video in Italian from RAI UNO with Amedeo Goria interviewing Camoranesi. I include the English translation.

Enjoy it!  I love how Camoranesi responded. Bravo!!! Duration: 49 seconds.

---

Amedeo -
With the team from 2 years ago,  the one from the World Cup, what kind of team we have?

Camoranesi -  Its' not nice to make  comparison, Practically, 70% of the World Cup  team makes part of this team too. These are two different teams.

Amedeo - Zapatero said Spain will win 3-2 because today spain is stronger than Italy

Camoranesi - If Zapatero said it maybe he knows something (ironic),  This is not a play station where we can program every movement.  prepare  the match knowing the characteristics of the opponent is better.

Amedeo - Who is the best with the play station?

Camoranesi - It's been a year I don't play with the play station. But, I think Buffon is the best.

Man, good response from Camoranesi, why keep comparing the teams. Good to know that Buffon is the best with the play station, good trivia!

About Zapatero, our Italy should prove him wrong! Forza Azzurri

What's with Camoranesi and Gattuso responding to "Spain's provocations?" I liked Cannavaro's response the best. He didn't respond to them personally. In response to the 3-2 he said No, I'm cheerinf for Italy, 1-0.

Gattuso saying "mia nonna..." Now Camoranesi saying it's not a "playstation" game.

Why do they even bother responding like this?
