Amazing!

After Italy defender Andrea Barzagli injured his left knee during yesterday's training preparing for the EURO 2008 Quarterfinals SPAIN - ITALY, today he is already out of the hospital. I am glad he is ok and recovering among his teammates in Casa Azzurri. Yet, it really surprises me that the surgery took only 10 minutes!  Aren't you surprised too?

Barzagli had his surgery in the same hospital where Captain Fabio Cannavaro had his surgery in Vienna.  Dr Andrea Ferretti, the doctor of the Italian National team, needed only 10 minutes to complete  the surgery of the
meniscus of Andrea's left knee.

Just like Cannavaro, Barzagli will stay with the team until the end of the tournament.  Best wishes Barzagli.
