It's so nice to hear our players from the Italian National team because as fans we feel closer to them, right?  I love this video from our Italy and AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo after he converted the penalty opening the score against  France in the 25th minute!
  EURO 2008 Match France 0  - 2 Italy

In this video in Italian, Pirlo is interviewed by Carlos Paris and my favorite commentator from La Domenica Sportiva "Teo Teocoli."  I include the English translation.

Here is the English translation from the video.

Pirlo  - Unfortunately I got a yellow card that I didn't need. But I'm happy for the result of the team. We go ahead at any cost in this competition. We have to thank Holland for the result, well done.

Carlo Paris [reporter]- Did you guys feel like "World Champions" a little, at any moment?

Pirlo- No, we always feel like that. The game was too important today. So we used everything we had.

00:45- [reporter] Was it really necesary that foul, in that moment...

01:00- Pirlo- Yes, because they [France] had left on the counterattack. The referee, I think, didn't see our player on the ground and didn't stop the game. When there was a France player on the ground he would stop it. It was a foul, not a very bad one, but it was needed [smiling].

01:19- Teo Teoccoli- Who do you think can take your place in the next game?

Pirlo- De Rossi, aquilani, camoerinai, ther are a lot.

What do you think of Pirlo's responses?

I like how Pirlo did not take any preference by naming a single player to replace him, instead, Pirlo acknowledges all his midfielders peers. Bravo.

Man, this is the man, the real deal for Italy! Bravo, i agree with you Anna that Pirlo did the best thing when asked about who could replace him. Anyway, the answer we all now... NOBODY.

I just saw the video. It's just like watching Rai International. Might as well just see the clips on youtube and stop paying for Rai every month
