- The qualities of Cassano remind me about some of my play. Although I used to play some meters behind. My duties were different than Cassano. Sometmes, Cassano upsets me even because he has great abilities, though sometimes he forgets that soccer is made of two phases. There is the other one where you don't have the all and he must understand that in that moment he must help the team.

Don,please don't flatter yourself!!!!!!!!!! You were a great winger for Milan,but please on technical ability such as ball control and dribbling, you can only dream of what Cassano is capable of.Is he for real?????
I remember the great Baggio saying before his retirement in an interview with the Gazzetta"Dopo di me Cassano".Meaning Cassano after me,or that he is his heir.Of cause baggio is the best player Italy have ever produced and can't be compared to anyone,but it shows how impressed he was with Cassano.
Donadoni wanted to compliment himself,that is all.Nice try Don!!!

Anna, you made me laugh,i did excatly what you expected of me. You make my day every time i see Cassano name on the blog.You are right;the minute i see The first 4 letter of his name (Cass) and i'm over joyed.I wasn't impressed with him in Italy-France game even though he got hit every time he touched the ball.What matters is that our Azzurri won.

Nina I am glad you liked the post! Most of all, you admit that Cassano today against France did not make a difference. I would have loved seeing him score, but no.... at least he was better than Toni.

I have to be objective;he was not as good as I expected of him today,but i'm waiting on my knight to come through for the Azzurri.I don't think he is enjoying this role of sitting back and supplying other players like Toni with the ball. I think if it was Del piero Cassano, we would have seen a different game.
